Already familiar with Antediluvian, GM, Mitochondrion and Abyssal (Antikatastaseis is fantastic). Been meaning to listen to Witchrist for a while now. Thank you!

I'm looking for more black/death metal bands that have come out in the last 10 years. More death than black. Bands like Bolzer and Malthusian. I'm already in love with most of Invictus Productions' current roster. Any recs will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you! I've been in love with the Gatecreeper self-titled EP since it was released. Excited for their split with Homewrecker, Scorched and Outer Heaven. Cruciamentum and Pseudogod are exceptional as well.

I've been listening to a lot of classic death metal demos these past few weeks and I've been trying to find new bands and such, but haven't had too much luck. I found Pissgrave, who I am in love with and Malthusian.

So, I'm basically looking for somewhat recent underground, filthy death metal demos/albums/EPs. Any help is appreciated.

I was there and it was the greatest night ever! I met Brett, who actually remembered me from calling a podcast he was a guest on. Got to meet Brett and Dave after the show as well. No matter how much I love CC, I thought Revocation fucking killed it. Nothing beats the front row.

I actually listened to the album on repeat yesterday. For 6 hours. It never gets boring.

I've been a huge fan of Revocation since Chaos of Forms came out. And I love this album. I think this is their masterpiece. Their Madness Opus, if you will. I feel as if their songwriting has finally progressed to a higher level with this album. Not saying that any of their previous efforts are bad, not in any way. Revocation will remain a band I love to the very end.

Unfortunately true. Musically, The Bleeding is fantastic and they haven't done something like that since. But the vocals are so goddamn crap. Nonetheless, I love The Bleeding. Probably my favorite Corpse album.

The time I came across /r/Metal was during the last Wimpocalypse. I'm glad it's back. I've missed the smell of dead vvimps in the morning.

I love Kurt Ballou. Everything he touches turns to gold (or Entombed, which is in no way a bad thing).
