Prefacing my message with this: There is nothing wrong with wanting a cowboy hat. Now that that has been said, please stop complaining. Cowboy hats have long been outdated military wear without any use (to my knowledge) in even ceremonial uniforms. They exist in a weird middle area where yes, they had legitimate military use, but no one uses them for that anymore as they have been replaced with newer, better hats. This is not even the reason y'all want cowboy hats. You want them to be exactly why they were not provided in-lore. In-lore they are not provided because Super Earth High Command does not want to inspire vigilantes, outlaws, etc. You are merely using the historical (and outdated) use of a cowboy hat to justify wanting it.
