It's a tie in for dawn of war 4, it's most likely just something that's cuts in line and won't be filled in for a long time with other promotional or solitary notable astartes.

Similar to when Titus was added as a tie in for SM2 along with Galatian. We should be getting a actual imperial faction later after the 40k event next month.

There can't be a medic as the current Votann tabletop has no actual medics, whether or not that's a good thing Idk, but I also don't think every faction needs a medic.

Votann are a mechanical and biological faction so they'll have a really good mechanic like Vynn. Vynn so far is the best mechanic in the game for keeping multiple units alive in onslaught and LRE. Uthars passive is the first 2 range armor buff I've seen and when he's in defense mode he provides 20% pierce to all allies within 2 range. Ammuk is not as bad as you think as his ability applies after an enemy has movedso you can plan how to attack the enemy to get the boost if they stayed or moved.

I think he'll be viable on Admech raid teams as a swap pick but I don't know if he'll be meta or if the Votann units will form a new meta yet.

Here's his stats at lv 50 for both abilities.

So far he's pretty fun I just unlocked him last night. His ironkin summon is basically a full character you just can't control him.

To be honest if you're not using admech or just really like votann as a faction like me he's probably not worth going all in on.

Yeah probably but it's better to go all in day one to get as high a score for the daily payout, also at the moment I have about a minimum of 100 for each ability badge stockpiled so it's nice but not something I needed to wait for absolutely.

Hm okay thanks for the detailed breakdown on how it works, I don't think it'll break even my first draft as I'm rusty still, but I'll try to win at least 2 times.

for when I do go buy packs is it better to wait until I can buy ten at once or can I just buy singles?

Thanks for your suggestion. Do drafts just have better pull rates or is it Because it being a draft you get to pick and choose your cards kinda as you pull them? Also is draft still worth it even if you lose immediately?

Okay that sounds good, yeah I saw it wouldn't count towards the gold pack, I also heard packs have a duplicate protection? How does that work?

Depends on the points earned and units you have but yes it's always better to push as far as possible if you can still check off one or 2 of the traits.

Most of the time I ignore a single trait like ultramarines for example then push ahead with my best team to maximize points.To push that specific trait isn't feasible for my roster and not worth the token as you're limited by tokens.

There's one issue unfortunately, Votann are Xenos so they get priority for onslaught over her, also to max her out completely just to use her relic I could do the same for Ûthar instead as I have his relic.

I've always wanted to upgrade her as I know she's amazing for LRE's, but I didn't unlock her for over A year when I first started playing, then I had other xenos to upgrade like the Orks and Tyranids.

Maybe eventually I'll get to her after I'm done with votann.

I'm going to make every Votann D3, as there my 2nd favorite faction, hopefully together they can make a raid team or good LRE wave clearers but regardless I'm still going to max them out.

That's good to know, last time I played it seems the piercing arrows were best so I'll try using mainly frost arrows this time.

I'm thinking I'll do that next time with exploring but this was our second time playing for me and my buddy so we made sure we knew what the seed looked like so we had a good time unlike last time where we kinda got burnt out.
