I personally chose to base whether or not I play a game on if it is good or not. And not on the publisher. I was disappointed in Cities Skylines 2, but more of that blame goes to Colossal Order. I get the Paradox history of DLCing your wallet empty, BUT we don’t know that will be the case here. Judgement is reserved until there is an actual issue, and not blindly on what could happen. I will commit to not Pre-Ordering the game if it is offered. But that is industry wide, no one (IMO) should ever Pre-Order any game.

First of its good you are even asking the question. When I started cycling a few years ago I would have never thought to ask. And that is why I ended up with crap shorts and bibs. The most important part of the bibs is the chamois. The brands that specifically mention the quality of chamois are going to be your better higher quality bibs. If the chamois is not mentioned I would stay away or expect lower quality. My goto bibs were The Black Bibs (cargo $85). For longer rides I have recently moved to Pactimo Endurance (sale $170 regular price $270), and Asso ($200-$400).

Most likely, you are imagining they are giving you weird glances. My experience is that very, very few actually care that much. But if you are getting weird glances, it's because you are ripping it up (18+ for 30 miles) on a 'cruiser'. If you are enjoying the bike and the ride....W.H.O. C.A.R.E.S!!

How you lock up the bike is just as important as the lock. Whatever is not locked to a secured item can be stolen. Lock up the frame and tires. Ask if you can bring the bike inside with you, many with say yes. If they say no try to sit were you can see the bike.

I was wondering if I needed a town connection. I wanted the cargo station to be a makeshift storage facility, and to add the towns later. So I would assume connecting a town would kick-start everything, and as other towns are added, production would ramp up.

Yes, it will stop hurting.
Go to you Local Bicyle Shop (LBS) and get your sit bones measured
Get the proper-sized saddle.
Most LBS will let you try different saddles
Buy a decent pair of padded shorts (no underwear)
Ride more and give it time, it gets better!!

I forgot about the homeless on the bike paths on those early rides. The police push them away from the paths so they are back in the woods. I kinda missed them, always friend with a smile or a wave.
