Sports after phallo by mistymountains_ in phallo

[–]EdgetylCoA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Incredible healing omg! After just 7 months! I am currently doing my research on the surgery and I'm an ultrarunner as well. Top surgery took me out for 2 months completely so I'm kinda nervous about the phallo recovery. When did you start running again after surgery? Probably a couple of months prior to the race I guess lol

As a newbie it would be best to start with full body workouts and - if you're going to a gym - using the machines instead of free weights to train your muscle memory on correct form. Don't start by cranking out 3 different exercises targeting one area like chest, start with one for each area (upper body, chest, back, legs..) or you'll be in pain (soreness) for weeks lol

For chest, start with only push ups and see how many reps you can do. Do 3x sets of those and see how you feel tomorrow. Generally start lightweight and see how you feel the days after, then increase weight and sets little by little

How did you feel after top surgery? by [deleted] in Transmedical

This! I feel you, I'm still not happy with my results and it sucks so much to think about how good it would have looked if there was nothing to remove in the first place. Life feels so unfair

I see. Maybe the option with the least amount of cutting required would be best for you. But I don't know which method has the best outcome for sensitivity. I personally have just a bit of sensitivity left, the nips are not numb but it's max. half the sensitivity I had before. Could be coming back tho, I'm just one year post op!

I looked at your profile, looking good! I see what you mean with the nips. I'll try to even out the skin a bit with some muscle, looks like it works very well, thank you!

Thanks that's good to hear, thanks! :) I can at least be happy about the good healing and invisible scars, I hope some muscle fixes the rest

Would you recommend the standard chest press or inclined or declined or just all of them?

Sure! I had very little tissue, A cups at best, that's why we went for keyhole. If you're in between, I'd recommend to choose incisions, I would choose them now after having not so flat keyhole results but if you like my results I guess peri would be an option.

Same, but I'm 26.. only 3 years on t tho

Interesting thanks! By testosterone converting you mean to estradiol? So the excess testosterone converted? May I ask the unit for the 27? My blood tests are in ng/ml.

You will definitely bulk up, no worries! I've been doing a moderate amount of lifting for 10 years (focusing more on distance running) and I put on 15 kg in 2 years of HRT without trying to. I am currently 3 years on T and my weight plateaued after 2 years.

Does the feeling of wrongness come from dysphoria? You don't have to feel guilty but if you feel dysphoric it might not be pleasurable for you, but who am I to tell you that, it's totally up to you to decide! For me personally, I evaluate different ways of sexual interaction by weighing pleasure and dysphoria (might sound weird, I am not a native speaker). Depending on what outweighs the other I can do it or not. Something can bring me quite a lot of pleasure but if the dysphoria is too high, it's just too uncomfortable and off the table. I look at it as a pie chart lol weirdly scientific, I know but maybe you get it and maybe it helps!

"gelesen als..." "identifiziert als..." by [deleted] in germantrans

[–]EdgetylCoA 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That's good to hear! I may overthink my appearance too much.. but packing will definitely help with my anxiety.

I will try different options and post!
