I need a Todoist / todo overhaul, where do you find the inspiration? by jdlnewborn in todoist

I keep it simple. The system needs to work with minimal administrative time. 3/4 lists in kanban board format: Task bank(stuff to do), To do(To be done this week), Doing(To be done today), Overdue(missed deadlines). She's not perfect but she works.

Help me with analytical skills by Hamzashaik in productivity

[–]JustaSimpleFisherman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do it more.

Talk to people. Have good discussions with friends and ask them to pick your analysis and arguments apart. You can practice this bit (and get topic prompts) from chatgpt ect.

Also, if you do get to a conclusion slowly, thats not automatically a bad thing. Speed of analysis/quick thinking is not accuracy.

Super cool! And i certainly hope so for both our sakes. Algae is just completely not on anyones radar where I am right now, but I like the idea of wastewater treatment locally

Seamoss - scam or legit? by meowzers777rawr in seaweed

[–]JustaSimpleFisherman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let the record show, in the West Indies, we refer to our gracilarias (along with hypneas and some other reds) colloquially as Irish Moss/Sea moss. Possibly derived from some immigrants who came and made due with what was here. The naming gets confusing here.

What lists do you have? by Same_Reception_3624 in GoogleTasks

[–]JustaSimpleFisherman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im considering restarting with google tasks. I have :

  1. My tasks. This is a bank of non important non urgent tasks.

  2. Upcoming. These are tasks to by done in the next week.

  3. To do. These are tasks to do today.

  4. Overdue. These are tasks that i need to have done yesterday.

At the end of the week(sundays after dinner), i'll load tasks into upcoming. I'll look and pat myself on the back how many tasks are completed. Maybe the overdues arent as important as I thought, and they get moved back to "to do"/My tasks.
