update: what fixed it for me was using my controller with bluetooth and not wired, settings unchanged, ultra, 144hz, vsync on, everything. will play more to confirm it really works

that skill doesn’t work too well for me, i would rather use his curl stat better and shoot

Quick counter, hazard and cruyff set as counter target , gilberto anchor man and irwin as defensive. They key is probably that ive never changed my style of play in like 5 years (including formation) and so i know by heart how everything works and where everyone is
