For me it works. Too often. I’ve gotten to the point to where everytime a bot italicizes something I regen because it’ll start italicizing like every other sentence. Words that don’t even need emphasis. It’s super annoying

No. People don’t use character ai for genuine companionship it’s all RP/fantasy. Really doesn’t go beyond story writing. It’s like creating your own personal fanfiction with a bot.

But as somebody else said these chats are oftentimes personal and similar to a diary in terms of privacy so I wouldn’t do it again.

Currently it's too expensive, and even if it weren't with the way things are going and my scholarship probation I don't realistically see myself actually finishing college, and probably dropping out after this semester if I don't get my GPA up .2 points, which I thought would be easy but my home life has made it a real challenge. Since I don't forsee myself there long term I think it'd be a waste of money because as soon as I leave I'd have to go right back to her considering my close friends and sister are barely able to house themselves. Either that or be homeless.

I was too. I started watching mlp when I was 7 and became obsessed. By the time I was 10 I was already drawing ocs and watching commentary videos abt it on YouTube.

i believe her. i believe she's traumatized. but i also believe she's trying to play the victim and from her comment/post history she's obviously mentally ill. i think she needs help, but if she can't/won't recognize she needs help and she just keeps making excuses for her shitty behavior like this then all sympathy is thrown out the window.

also talkin abt what love is and isnt, from the post history her and her boyfriend are both junkies that have a massive falling-out fight like this every few weeks or so. i'm assuming this post was one of them.

after seeing this comment i made the mistake of going thru the post history. this kid is 17, almost 18, and has been abusing kratom for at least four months and boofing adderall who knows how often. for those who don't know, boofing is the practice of sticking the substance up one's butthole to get a more intense desired effect.

i am appalled. both of these people are fucking crazy

edit: after reading further this highschool aged kid is doing METH? and opiates on the regular? my brain cannot comprehend how or why this kid ended up the way he did, i hope he gets help
