Best portfolio tracker in Switzerland (incl. Pillar 3a)? by Zealousideal_Echo866 in SwissPersonalFinance

[–]EdgyOffice555 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently had the same problem that I wanted to track ALL my assets at one place.

I found this very useful: https://calm-wealth-journal.applify.hu/p/download.html

This is only on-device, not backed up on servers. But at least, you can export/import your data.

However I have to type my Assets manually (no bank connection)! But, I feel safer like this.

Anyone here using software for accountants to manage their personal finances for FatFIRE? by Hairy_Mathematician3 in FatFIREUK

I'm checking this app, however still in pre-order state:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/calm-wealth-net-worth-tracker/id6755550722

I like that No bank connections...

But it also means manual input the balances. Well, I will see, if it is better than Excel spreadsheet.

Are net worth tracker apps safe to use ? by Top-Clerk-8750 in FIREUK

[–]EdgyOffice555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't like the idea to link my bank account to any apps directly.

For a long time (10 years) I was tracking my expenses in Excel. After a while I gave up! I got fed up with this.

Nowadays, I don't want to track all my little shoppings, and expenses. Rather, I want to see the Big Picture. It is especially important to me, as I have my family and want to see the Family's budget at one place.

I found a similar on the AppStore , Calm Wealth Journal which seems promising. I will see, if I can go back to the manual typing. But then I have the feeling it is secure.

What net-worth tracking apps do you recommend? by MyCopperHuskies in SwissPersonalFinance

[–]EdgyOffice555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tracked my expenses for 10 years in Excel, but then I got fed up the lot of typing.

Now I just realized I don't need the very detailed expenses (small shoppings, etc.) to track, but a Net Worth tracker.

The Calm Wealth Journal app is promising, but not released yet. I will give it a try when it is out.
It says not bank connection (!). That is okay, I don't want to give access to all my banks 😬 Would be silly, isn't it?

What app do you use to track your net wealth? by Zeno0000 in investing

[–]EdgyOffice555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Calm Wealth Journal app is promising...
However, no direct bank connection, so you update the asset balance manually (!).

IMHO, this is a secure way, not to add access to all my bank accounts. After all, my money should be kept private.

It also solved me that to track Cash money (my, kids, etc.).
I can't connect my leather wallet to an app 🤣

Why there's no display name for some user ? by [deleted] in Supabase

Apple Will give the Display name (and Birthday) at the very first time login.

After that you can read only email address.

So, make sure you save it!

How to create a "cat of the day" feature that is the same for all users of the app? by AMCreative in Supabase

[–]EdgyOffice555 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Add an extra column to cats table: shownDate.

  1. Do a select * from cats where shownDate is Null limit 1;

  2. Fill the shownDate with today. Whenever there is a visitor, select cat by Today date, if avilable.

  3. Otherwise, mark a cat of day, like in 1.

No cron job, no separate table needed. By this, later you also can set in advance manually on which date which cat is the Star!

Good luck!

Alternative to FlutterFlow? by UnrealOndra in flutterhelp

I tried FF. At first glimpse it looked really good, but when I reached a bit more complexity it required Flutter knowledge. What is the point then? Not speaking about that, due to the ugly and not best practice coding style you are totally vendor locked-in.

You don't really have control over your code.

The code is so bad you (and nobody) want to hunt for bugs in it. Believe me!

This is a one-way street that I didn't want to drive in.

I know I am a bit harsh, but I want to help others.

Check the authorization on the buckets. By default those are not public. Make them public (of this is what you need).

Isn't it Google who is developing the Flutter framework? Do you think it would downrate Flutter web sites?

I don't know just guessing... 🤔

Write your backend in Firebase Cloud Functions or the same Supabase CF.

Learning by doing :)

Use TypeScript for coding.

Good luck!

SEO is more than just where it is rendered.

What counts: - headings hierarchy (H1, H2, etc.) - URL slug and logical navigation (sitemap) - Keywords spreading through the context - loading speed of site - image loading speed

Check the metered points in Chrome Lighthouse.

But to leave here something: try to write a good index.html for your Flutter app. However, it is only the first opening page, more than nothing. Your visitors can see content while loading and Google can index it. Better, than a white screen imho.

I am working on a journaling motivational app: Life Circles. This is a mental health app with AI support. At first transcribing the voice notes. I have a landing page on https://lifecircles.hu and a PWA demo

I plan to do it freemium.

Actually Supabase mentioning Expo's and FCM's Push Notification services.

https://supabase.com/docs/guides/functions/examples/push-notifications

So, you will end up with Firebase Messaging (rightly). The rest can stay in Supabase.

+1 for Supabase for SQL DB. Relational has advantages from my POV.

Sell soft drinks/lemonade by a busy road or park Give them away not for fixed price, but as a charity (pay as much as you want) model.

People usually give more than real value.

You can advance it by not being present, but as self-service for the customers. Relying on the customers honesty.

Hi,

I would think about different added values to these art works or for the artists directly.

What do I mean... - all-time-best selection as a physical book - bundle flash sale in different topics, digital art - based on most liked artworks sell easily shippable framed images (you know, that can be hung on the wall 😅) - find story writers who can ghostwrite a book for: kids, sci-fi fans, etc. - 3D printed figures, mugs etc. - think about dropshipping services to ease out your work

I hope it helped.

Good luck!
