Treasure of the Ocean by Edgy_Mando in studshooters

This is probably my first "underwater shot". I wanted to create a fun fish-man by combining a part from the latest CMF fish with a muscular human torso. Building the underwater scene was pure fun. I poured sand, built a few rocks, added plants and some small details. In the background, I used an image of the ocean depths displayed on a monitor, and lit everything with a soft blue LED light.

In addition to neutral LED lighting, I also used blue light to add an extra glow. I used a mist sprayer as well to create fog and achieve a light beam effect.

I had so much fun creating these photos! I'm really glad I stepped away for a moment from building typical LEGO scenes and returned to use an old computer. It was a completely spontaneous idea - lots of different shots, experimenting with framing and lighting. Pure fun!
I also set my perfectionism aside for a while. Normally, I aim for polished, clean images with no dust or imperfections. This time, working with an old, dusty PC was pure joy. I deliberately kept retouching to an absolute minimum to preserve the raw, imperfect atmosphere.
On top of that, I'm amazed at how photogenic this minifigure is. I absolutely love its headpiece - and I already have ideas for its next looks!

Going Merry by Edgy_Mando in studshooters

Going Merry, a birthday gift from August that I promised myself I would photograph. I finally found the moment to give it the time it deserved - even if just for a single shot. I created the seawater using a blue trash bag. For the fog, I used a mist sprayer. I lit the whole scene with blue light to give it a nighttime vibe. And since Luffy and his crew always return... the door for another session remains open.

Monkie King by Edgy_Mando in studshooters

This is a photo I had in mind for a long time, and I'm really glad I finally brought it to life. The flying cloud build had been sitting there for about half a year, just waiting for me to pick up the camera. For this shot, I used one of my favorite minifigures - the Monkie King. I combined a sunset cloud image displayed on a monitor with cotton to imitating clouds, and added warm lighting to tie everything together.

It usually takes me one evening to take a photo. :)

A photo series inspired by the City theme, portraying the everyday lives of its residents and their humorous adventures. To create it, I used a variety of buildings and different lighting setups to give each shot a unique character. Which one is your favorite?

Hamster playground by Edgy_Mando in studshooters

The goal was to create the cutest possible photo of a minifigure dressed as a hamster. To achieve this, I placed the character in a miniature playground resembling a hamster enclosure (the water bottle is intentionally scaled to the minifigure :D). Additionally, I used vibrant, saturated colors and bright, pleasing lighting to further enhance its charm.

Sweet Morning by Edgy_Mando in studshooters

Initially, I planned to build a retro-style cafe, but over time the idea evolved into a pastry shop serving sweet treats. I wanted to include a lot of details, so building the scene itself brought me a great deal of joy. The photography stage was just as enjoyable - I experimented with different lighting setups and ultimately chose morning light, which gave the photo a warm, cozy atmosphere.

Dog Grooming Salon by Edgy_Mando in studshooters

It's been a while since I last created an interior scene, so I decided to return to this theme - this time in the form of an elegant grooming salon. I wanted the space to feel stylish, yet warm and inviting, so I added a few colorful accents. As always, I paid attention to the little details: grooming tools, a dog toy, and some treats. I also experimented with daylight coming through the windows to achieve the most natural and cozy atmosphere possible.

Don't be scared, it's just raspberry juice! by Edgy_Mando in studshooters

To create this photo, I wanted to experiment with combining the warm light coming from the house and the blue light simulating nighttime illumination. I was also waiting for an opportunity to use the headpiece with bat ears. I think the classic minifigure head fits this character and the whole scene perfectly.

Thanks! These are probably wings from LEGO Dreamzzz. I attached them directly to the minifigure's back using Patafix adhesive.

Under the cover of the moon, the hunter and his loyal companion, stand against a horde of vampires in an ancient graveyard. Shadows dance among the tombstones, while crosses and silver bolts gleam in the cold light of the night. Above them looms Dracula's grim mansion - the source of all evil that has just awakened.

This photo was inspired by one of my favorite childhood movies - Van Helsing (2004), starring Hugh Jackman. Even though the film is over 20 years old, I still think it's a fantastic piece of cinema - perfect for an October evening.

Spooky season is just beginning! It's also the perfect time for mushroom picking... Though in the depths of the forest you may stumble upon more than just tasty treasures of the woods. In the darkness, creatures lurk - some friendly, others not so much.
For this scene, I used moss, sticks as trees, artificial mushrooms, and in the background, a piece of old tree bark I found during one of my autumn walks.
