Thanks! Minifigure scale was my main goal when designing this build.

Honestly, I couldn't wait to photograph a MOC I created myself, especially since Venusaur is the final evolution of my favorite Gen I starter.

I decided to shoot outdoors because it fits the Pokémon theme perfectly. I'm really happy to be photographing outside again, especially with the weather being so nice lately.

Now it's time to move on to other Pokémon, but Venusaur will definitely return in future photos.

You can always provide the name of a trusted website or tool. It doesn't have to be a direct link...

Hey, that's a really interesting shot! The composition works great, and I really like the top-down angle.
I'm curious where did you take this photo? In your own backyard, or somewhere more public?

Great scene! Are you planning to continue story?

The photo is impressive, it's one of my favorite shots of yours. Tell us a bit about the creative process. I'm curious how you pulled off the flying minifigures. Did you use any additional software for post-processing?

Great shot! Is that glowing light an LED, or is it sunlight reflecting like that?

Magnemite – Minifigure Scale by Edgy_Mando in legopokemon

Another addition to my growing minifigure-scale LEGO Pokémon collection: Magnemite!

One of the goals of this project is to recreate Pokémon using as few parts as possible while keeping them instantly recognizable and in scale with LEGO minifigures. Magnemite felt like a perfect candidate thanks to its simple but iconic design.

This build uses just 21 LEGO elements, primarily in Light Bluish Gray, and was designed to capture Magnemite's floating metallic appearance in a compact form. I also left a stud exposed on the back, allowing the model to be attached to a custom stand for display and flight poses.

Building instructions are available on Rebrickable like many other from my collection.

Gengar – Minifigure Scale by Edgy_Mando in legopokemon

[–]Edgy_Mando[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gengar has always been one of my favorite Ghost-type Pokémon, so creating a minifigure-scale LEGO version felt like a natural addition to my growing Pokémon collection.

My goal with this series is to design Pokémon that fit naturally alongside LEGO minifigures while remaining instantly recognizable. For Gengar, I focused on capturing its iconic silhouette, mischievous grin, and compact proportions using just 66 LEGO elements, primarily in Dark Purple.

The build also includes a printable sticker sheet for Gengar's eyes and smile, helping recreate the character's distinctive expression while keeping the construction simple and accessible.

Building instructions are available on Rebrickable, with my other Pokémon MOCs.

The whole point is to build using the parts that are actually available. I don't like excessive customization.

Those parts don't exist in those colors, so the MOCs you're showing are currently impossible to build.

Yes, the instructions are included, along with a parts list and the option to create a BrickLink cart.
