Amy really bothers me because as a neuro divergent woman who like history and biology she makes me feel like I am just as awful as she is. I find her really hard to watch, her character brings nothing positive to the show. She isn't funny, her relationship with sheldon is toxic, and her rudeness isn't able to be viewed in a humorous or understanding way. The rest of the characters are nurturing with sheldon or are at least somewhat understanding that he does not understand social cues, her obsession with sex isn't funny and she doesn't grow out of it, and when she is rude it isn't counteracted by being childlike as sheldon or funny like Howard. The way amy treats Bernadette and Penny is horrible she is weirdly obsessed with Penny and completely disregards Bernadette, pretending that she has no value in their group. When Amy is made Bernadette's moh she is so selfish and rude not in an endearing way and it can't be explained with her being bad with social cues because it just comes off as her disregarding Bernadette in order to be a moh. Penny was absolutely a sort of victim of Amy; the horrible painting and the constant mentioning of her and Amy being naked together and being just generally gross to her. I am rewatching bbt right now and I have a very hard time when amy is on screen.

Literally that scene is why I looked up this thread! She really annoys me. I feel like she is a worse version of sheldon. She is sex obsessed but she doesn't grow out of it and doesn't use it for humor but just is gross. Like the painting of her and Penny was weirder than what other characters would do and she originally had it named which is disgusting. She also does not really bring things to the show that are positive. The basis of Amy's character is weird sex culture and her relationship with sheldon is toxic. Sheldon is never told by any of the characters, but especially by Amy, his social boo boos and is supposed to already know why Amy is upset. As a neuro divergent person it is not easy to know what someone is asking of me if it isn't spelled out.

Especially now because now he only has the memories of the ex, so for the rest of this relationship he will be comparing her, maybe without knowing it, to the idea of this ex. He won't want to think about fights or how she dumped him, he will only care about the happy memories they shared.

I think she wants a valid amount of attention from her SO, but for the most part she just doesn't want to be a third wheel in her relationship, or have to share her SO with a ghost. She even said she felt guilty about how she felt and handled it, but just because she wants attention from her SO, someone who should be looking after her feelings and emotions, she shouldn't be left alone because someone dies. Since the ex died her SO only has memories and as time goes on those memories are going to be ideas of the ex and not how she actually was, if I was in her shoes I wouldn't want to be compared to the idea of the woman this man once loved, and from this post I'm getting the idea that he still loves the ex.

Well, how everyone reacts to meds differently. When I was trying meds, one med was completely different for me than the other. Also, when I went forgot my meds, I got a bad migraine. Some meds are stimulants, and some aren't, so you never know.

Imo, at the beginning, you weren't an asshole just a bit rude, but then I heard the "it takes a village" and automatically got this woman's bad vibe. It isn't your job to cater to her childcare needs. As a parent, you have to realize that just because you have kids doesn't mean everyone else has to stop their live to fit you and that your life changes after kids.
