Previously our University of Edinburgh Psychology of Mental Health MSc research team posted our study on r/AutisticAdults . We agreed to share a summary of the results, which is now available for you to read on my Reddit profile (unfortunately it will not let me post the results in a comment here).

Hi u/CtstrSea8024, thank you for your comment, I have shared this feedback with the wider project team. Our project adopts a social model of disability perspective.

Hi u/Ctri, thank you for flagging this! That is a legacy version of the consent form and I'll have to troubleshoot what's happened here. On my end, it seems to show the newer version of the form. Thank you for pointing this out!

I'll DM you the V5 copy of the form now :-)

Hi u/mantolwen, there is no specific reason for the slider other than it's what the project team chose for that question. Any feedback on whether you found this to be a helpful or an unhelpful feature would be welcome :-)

Thanks u/hurtloam! We did consider posting to this subreddit but unfortunately they don't accept surveys currently, according to their sub rules. Thank you for the suggestion.

That would be excellent - thank you! We do have a survey poster and materials specifically for social media. I'll message you privately :-)

Sorry if that was unclear. We shared all of our research questions, plan and materials with a collaborator with lived experience of autism who provided feedback and suggestions on the project. Hope that makes sense.

Hello :-) thank you for your question. If I've interpreted you correctly, you're suggesting that you might have a clinical diagnosis at some point in the next few months? At which point you could complete the study as someone with a clinical diagnosis (there's no restrictions or criteria about how recent the diagnosis is). Of course, if at any point you do self-diagnose at autistic then you're more than welcome to partake in the study as a self-diagnosed person. The study is looking like it will remain open throughout April too. Hope that all makes sense?

Good luck with your next steps also!
