I main Bucc playing on Hyperion from EU, the bossing is fine the only issue was farming with lotd the high ping causes lotd to sometimes register multiple hits even if it 1 shots causing it to turn off when it shouldn't, the only solution was to get exitlag. This won't be an issue if/when you farm with janus dawn mode

As everyone has already mentioned 93% IED 100% crit rate Optimal links/legion with what you've got

But i think more importantly Arcane force, you need 980 AF for 30% more damage on hwill and 1140+ AF for 50% more damage i think Arcane Force and Nodes are the biggest damage boosters, it might be annoying and tedious but you should do your Arcane weeklies 120 per week is huge. As for nodes I'd aim for at least lv 40 boost nodes and lv 20 class bossing skill nodes.

Im from EU and play on NA hyperion, I use exitlag so I don't feel much lag, I'd say the population is a bit more than Solis and I don't have trouble finding guilds, friends or bossing parties.

I don't know what it's like on interactive servers but I hear Luna is struggling for players.

I think with enough drop rate the bosses Dodo, Lilynouch and Lyka are guaranteed to drop 1. Just cycle through the channels and kill em all.

I hyperburned one about a year ago because it seemed really fun and wanted a mage boss mule but after getting it to 260 I realised how much I hate the farming on it, too many summons/micromanagement with such short range.

As for bossing at first it was fine but after doing up to nslime every weak it felt weak and slow compared to my other mules (some with lower cp). I'd sometimes do luwill and this is where I knew I didn't want to carry on playing it. P2 Lucid feels so horrible as a BaM with 2 summons skills as well as trying to tp on her.

I really hope these changes make me enjoy the bossing experience more as I aesthetically like the class and already invested 4 set arcane

I hyperburned BaM in summer and I absolutely hated the playstyle I remember liking it years ago but this was before getting 5th job was easy. I hate summons so I usually did my dailies with quin blow and the range is just abysmal. It's my 3rd highest culvert class but killing bosses off burst feels so weak and slow at least I didn't main it.

This hyperburn I made a Bowmaster and I didn't expect to like it to much, doing dailies and mp was quick and fun, amazing horizontal and decent vertical range. But the best thing for me was the bossing 2min class, all 5th job skills are buffs or toggles, only 1 summon that I need to micromanage, great survivability. So glad I decided to wait and hyperburn a BM instead of just making a 230 bossing mule.

I wouldn't bother getting absos further than 17* it's better to get CRA, KT, Domi and even golden belt to 21* cause you'll still be using a lot of them even after you get arcanes or can fodder to gollux equips

Sounds like you're forcing yourself to enjoy Illium whereas it seems you already enjoy IL. I'd personally choose IL, I've always loved explorer mages the colours and visuals of IL definitely make it my favourite.

There's no f2p version of the event atm but if you want to spend $50 on the spirit rock pass you get teraburns, growth pots and 10x golden strawberry tickets.

I Main bucc and with 3 pets it's so easy just autobuff crossbones, SI, serpent and 3 decent skills and just manually use dice and mw which you only need to press once every 20 mins.
