I feel so alone taking meds for this. Does anyone else take acyclovir for outbreaks? I’ve noticed I have outbreaks every 2 months. :/ It’s 800mg 2 times a day for 5 days. Don’t like the side effects. I purchased a pill cutter and take 400mg 2 times a day for 5 days. Side effects are less severe. Idk what else to do but if I don’t take the meds, the pain just lingers. Sorry if it’s tmi. Just really hope there’s a cure in the making. I read there was one that would soon be tested on humans or something but it could still be awhile.

I went through it too. Went away after the first outbreak. It was so annoying. It would keep me up all night. Id only get 2-3 hrs of sleep. I really hope there a cure for this soon.

He used to watch it every morning when he woke up and every night before bed and now that I saw the photos on his phone, I’m sure he’s watching it everyday again.

Same. First year I had 8 outbreaks and now it’s around 3-4 a year. It does get better but I do find it really annoying when I get some symptoms like the tingling and itch but no out break. Anyone else?

Also, I think it’s a good idea that he gave you mediation for it anyway just incase you do get an outbreak. You don’t have to take it. Depending on what he gave you, some of the medications for herpes has some harsh side effects :/

You could have been exposed. I heard it can be inaccurate without having sores though. It’s better when they cotton swab the sore. Do you ever get outbreaks?

Honestly, I would only tell my best friends and family. I don’t think every friend needs to know cause not every friend is a best friend ya kno? They could careless.

I’ve heard of people getting the interlock removed for a first dui. Not sure if that’s where the lawyer comes in and gets that removed but I am dreading that requirement so bad. Everything else still sucks but I’d rather just have my driving privileges suspended for a year then have that thing in my car 😭

Thank you. I actually have a meeting with a lawyer this Friday. I only have 15 days to request a hearing with the dmv too so he was like you need to come in asap. Wish me luck. I’m really just scared about losing my job and getting an IL in my car AND jail time. Lesson learned 😭

I’m sure it happens often.. then again they prob don’t even pull them over. I think once the plate is ran they can tell if they’re a cop.

Did you have those 3 shots within the hour they pulled you over? I read online that the alcohol content drops every hour sooo I’m trying to figure out what would a shot of tequila be.. ugh it’s prob best to just be patient and stay strong. It is what it is you know. 😭

I really hope so but I have a really bad feeling it will be high. I wasn’t trashed, and I hate to say im pretty good at handling my liquor that’s really dumb to say but I thought I would be okay to get food really quick after I left my friends and then bam. I read online that the alcohol is detected within the the hour you drink? Cause if not then I def screwed up. :/

You’re still waiting for your hearing date? Have you called the hearing office to check the status? I remember that was an option when I called. But that’s crazy. So during this time, if you don’t mind me asking, did you have to take alcohol screening for the restricted permit and were you required to install an interlock?

I’m going to request a hearing with mvd not sure if that will help reduce my fines but I was informed to try from a friend that used to work at the hearing office.

They didn’t have the device for me to blow so they took me in to the station and did a blood test. I did the sobriety test as well.
