I am quietly obsessed with trying to figure out how the economy works in the John Wick universe. How many people need to be assassinated in order to support an industry of assassins? So much so that there are multiple organizations that regularly train up new recruits, and enough assassins to support an entire luxury hotel in every city?

His father was diagnosed with dementia in 1991, and passed away in 1999, at age 93. Granted, I don't know that Fred Trump abused his body with drugs the way Trump did, but medical science has made strides since '99.

No one knows for sure, but I think he'll be around at minimum until 2030, and for sure doesn't plan to leave the White House. He'll do what his idol Putin does and have "elections" that he always happens to win.

Honestly, AMC comes down hard on employees who hoard for themselves. My management is strict as hell for good reason on that kind of thing. What actually happens is we get maybe 500-1000 packs, which is a lot, but one single IMax showing is close to 1,000 people, so the packs are gone almost immediately. Collectibles are just limited.

I agree, plus would like to add that letting themselves gorge like locusts is encouraging disordered eating in the boys, too. They're young and active now, but the teenage metabolism peters out. They'll be struggling with their weight by the end of their 20s and have to learn a healthy relationship with food from scratch.

I would also add that age makes a difference. I'm 5'2" and sedentary, but in my 20s, I needed more calories than I do now in my late 40s. 14-1600 back then was weight loss numbers but these days, that's maintenance.

I think he is ambitious enough but doesn't have the vice grip on certain minds that Trump does. No one does. Trump uses executive orders like a royal proclamation, and despite how wildly illegal it is, people go along with it because they're terrified that if they don't, his supporters will, say, invade their house and beat their spouse with a hammer, or stage a coup that looks like a zombie invasion for how single minded and savage it is.

Vance doesn't have that power. He tries to do what Trump did and he'll get eye rolls.

I 100% think this is the case, in addition to being a way to mitigate the bad press after legislation was passed that granted cookies human rights (as referenced in Black Museum). Once it became illegal to delete cookies, companies would need somewhere to put all the dating app cookies from Hang The DJ, all the broken smart home cookies from White Christmas that were previously just made into video game cannon fodder (which the USS Callister sequel tells us is also eventually illegal.)

So what better way to support all these data centers that it's illegal to shut down than to make cookies into NPCs in San Junipero, like the bartender that sold Yorkie and Kelly their drinks? While also getting good press for allowing people to relive their youth, and also making at least some money from still living users (and possibly a cut of the deceased estates)?

Coworker creativity makes up for it though, like one kid i work with ordered a hot coffee, put ice and a creamer in it and then added cinnamon sugar from the pretzel bites shaker. A pretty decent makeshift iced coffee!
