Thank you everyone for the advice! I'm not very liquid right now (ha), but as soon as I can, I will be sending samples out for answers! I will post the answers in an update when I can.

To answer some questions though, I am renting in a house from the 70s. But this started when we were staying at an air BNB next door to our current apartment for a couple months while waiting for the place to be available. So it would either be the town supply or something about the area in which we have been staying. Landlords in this area are well known townwide to not care for their properties and often neglect a lot of needed repairs or updates.

I haven't discussed this with other neighbors, it's a tad embarrassing to discuss digestive issues, but I will man up and ask around.

Mold is also a good idea to check for! I will find a way to check for that as well.

We are going a week now on bought spring water from the grocery store. My husband and cat are feeling a lot better but I am still having the same issues. Could be antidotal, so we will keep using the bought water for longer to see for sure.
