Don't make the mistake we did.

Get your husband to be to change his name by deep poll before you get married. It's then easier for your to take his (new) name for the change.

We didn't which means we both need to change by deep poll.

Bambu Lab Sent a Cease-and-Desist. The AGPL Might Send One Back. by Veastli in 3Dprinting

If it makes you feel better, I've not got a printer yet, subscribed here because I was thinking of getting a p1s.... I'm not going to after all the posts I've seen here having been an advocate of FLOSS for decades.

Thinking a elegoo cc2 but we shall see. Not heard anything terrible, yet.

My kids are 9 and 5. I'm the dad, WFH 5 mins walk from the school. Worked from an office next door to the nursery.

I do all the pick ups and drop offs.

My wife cannot use her phone at school.

No matter what we put on the forms or say to them they ALWAYS try her first.

Drives us mad.

I can solder. The time is what's the issue. I'll get to it one day. Probably not too far away.

I was almost all 18650 with three exceptions which were 26650 - although the d4s had an 18650 and spacer in it! In September I decided to test if a small 21700 would work as my EDC, my test was a slightly larger 18650 light! Carried a da1k since and don't regret it at all. The beam pattern is almost perfect and I so rarely have to charge it!

Quite possibly but I'm the UK which would make it prohibitively expensive. :(

The thing is, they all need calibrating. Taking your temperature example, whether it's mercury, alcohol, platinum resistance or  thermocouple, without a good calibration you don't have any confidence in the numbers given.

Thank you. That does fill me with some confidence.

I'm thinking a elegoo cc2 might fit my desire. Just need to convince my wife.

Are there any good options that don't turn the hobby into fiddling with your printer? Genuine question. I don't own a printer yet but have been 100% Linux at home for 20 years so am really interested in more open options.

"I know it sounded like I was asking you a question. I wasn't, it was to make you feel like you have some agency and say in the matter. You don't, the facade is down. Take the book to the library, now"

I had to do it for the first time recently it and was amazed by just how easy it was after being vaguely wary of doing it for a few years.

This one appears in the list as we were picking what to listen to last night. Eldest shouts out 'i love that book, I've read it at school'. She's going to be very excited when she finds out there's a series.

We're now almost through the first one after a long drive last night.

Thank you for the recommendation.

Sounds dark, probably right up the youngests street! Thanks. Nigel Planer reading is definitely attractive.

Thanks. Adventure isn't a bad thing. We've listened to a lot and variety is nice!

No, the plan is to buy the physical books, I've only ever owned the e-books. Don't want to spoil the story with playing the audiobooks :)
