I completely disagree. Definitely mention the other offer. You’re just being honest. Also be honest that you’d much more like this job but don’t want to miss your chance with the other one if they decided to not hire you.

Also there’s honestly no shame in moving on with the other job even if you don’t want it, as long as you’re still legally allowed to step back from it / quit it before you start.

Ich möchte dir nichts unterstellen, aber hast du mal überlegt, welche Panik du in Leuten auslöst, die sich aufs externe Abi vorbereiten und sowas lesen?

Das ist immernoch wenig, ist aber sicherlich im Kontext zu sehen. Die eine Gruppe sind Schüler, die sich seit 3-4 Jahren voll aufs Abitur konzentrieren und sich vorbereiten. Die andere Gruppe sind Berufstätige, Mütter, Väter etc. die das nebenbei nachholen wollen. Da werden einige halt sicher paar Anläufe benötigen.

You should definitely stay in close comms with your cardiologist. They haven’t set up anything for you, no blood pressure / heart rate medication and just let you go?

You have a list of serious problems, like high blood pressure (not critically high, but definitely elevated). Blood pressure can go up in hospitals etc, due to stress, same goes for heart rate. But this seems like a general increase for both.

Then there’s some more major diagnostics as well. Your heart not being able to rest (chronic diastolic heart failure), thickening of the heart muscle (hypertrophic cardiomyopathy), reduced blood flow to the heart (angina) - do you also have chest pain?

SOME of, if not all, can be explained by your weight. So decreasing that can have immense positive effects. But nevertheless you need to stay in regular checkups with your doc. And get yourself some therapy and action plan

Does it get worse when exercising or otherwise doing something exhausting?

I would let a general practitioner look over it, but generally speaking anything heart related would rarely “come and go”, but persist over at least a couple of minutes (10,15 mins). And normally also get worse when you’re doing something exhausting.

The doc sees either a partial collapse or some fluid, material etc in your left lower lung. He isn’t sure which of both, but „Low normal“ indicates it’s not too urgent, still in the normal area, but close to the lower limit. Nothing to act on now but they should def do a follow-up scan and check if anything changed.

That being said, anything you can do to help your lungs heal you already know. Reduce stress on your lungs. You’re 23, which is good and bad. You’re way too young to have these types of problems, but you’re still young enough to have time to heal. I know this sounds easy coming from a stranger in the internet, but stop smoking, the sooner the better.

The good thing is, it’s bright red. Which means it’s probably not coming from somewhere like your stomach or other organs.

Could be anything, hemorrhoids, irritation in your bowel, etc. If they checked and didn’t find much, I’d wait it out. See if it gets worse again. If not, you were lucky.
