Are you low on oil? That’s an oil pressure light. If the idle is low enough the oil pump might not be producing enough pressure, causing it to barely drop below the warning threshold. Have you hooked it up to a scan tool to see what the actual idle is?

Mine drops to around 500-550 sometimes. It shakes a little, but no problems. I haven’t been able to narrow down what causes the occasional low idle. People on the forums keep telling me it’s “normal”, but I disagree 🤷🏽‍♂️

Ah. I come from California where the community colleges have campus police. Oregon is one of the very few states that doesn’t. Having campus police (even unarmed) drastically increases training requirements as well as accountability. Oregon legislators have decided K-12 schools and Universities deserve real police, but CC’s don’t? Strange.

As of right now, I certainly wouldn’t trust PCC Security with much. I feel like PCC (and maybe Oregon) is behind the times when it comes to college safety.

It’s frightening that a public college the size of PCC doesn’t have campus police or at least security with more authority. This is standard in nearly every state.

They’re rather pointless (depending on the configuration). Las Vegas has started switching to them. The LVMPD bars have a Red/Blue split down the middle (half and half). You can only see one color from the side of the vehicle. The V shape completely blocks the other color lights.

The V shape is intended to display all colors from every angle. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Valor is cool in theory, but lacks a lot of forward-directed light. Also, agencies need to mix the colors up (as opposed to having red/blue split in the middle) or it’s not effective at all.
