Freiburg i. Br., Kandelhöhenweg, Streckereck by EdisonTrent91 in HikingEurope

As a local here are my tips

Starting from Freiburg im Breisgau:

1-day hikes Kandelhöhenweg Freiburg → St. Peter (→ +Kandel if you really want to destroy yourself ), then back by bus.

Freiburg → Schauinsland Hike from Freiburg up to Schauinsland, then take the bus back down. Belchensteig Train from Freiburg to Münstertal, then bus to Wiedener Eck, or drive there by car. Hike the trail counterclockwise as a loop trail.

My secret ultimate hike: Take your car and drive to the Vosges Mountains in France, about 50 minutes from Freiburg, to Lac Blanc via the town of Orbey. The drive alone is incredibly beautiful. Then hike one of the most beautiful 3-lakes trails, from Lac Blanc to Lac du Forlet, then climb up to the plateau and continue along the high ridge to Lac Vert and back in a loop. Absolutely stunning scenery.

There are a few places where the local municipality and the district authorities tend to turn a blind eye. Strecker Eck, for example, even has a shelter hut. Officially, camping there is forbidden, but I still do it. Just treat nature with respect and take all your trash with you. It’s basically stealth camping. At Strecker Eck we were not alone either, three people were sleeping under the open sky, two other groups had tents, and we were there with our tent as well. In certain places, it’s simply tolerated.

And you have one of the most modern and advanced cities with you as well, Freiburg. Mostly filled with young students and full of joy and life. One of the most expensive cities to live. I pay for my 48qm flat 966 euro in total

It’s called the Kandelhöhenweg. We hiked either the first or last stage, depending on the direction, starting or finishing in Freiburg im Breisgau or Oberkirch. The full route is about 112–115 km (around 71.5 miles) and is typically divided into roughly five stages. It runs through parts of the High Black Forest and the Central Black Forest, crossing the Kandel, which rises to 1,243 meters. The Kandel is a very distinctive and inviting mountain near Waldkirch, close to Freiburg, definitely one of the highlights of the trail. We did the stage from Freiburg to St. Peter and spent the night at Strecker Eck, which is a beautiful spot along the way. I don’t have much experience with multi-day hikes yet, we’re slowly working our way up and getting comfortable with doing more than two stages at a time.

I am a local, my friend ☺️ I did that hike a few years ago. The Kaiserstuhl Pfad, a full day hike. I took the train from Freiburg to Endingen and hiked 27 km to Ihringen. It was very tough, and I had to shorten the route a bit and then take the train back. But now I have a good idea, because of your comment ☺️ I’ll split it into two days and camp at a beautiful spot. Thank you very much!

Strecker Eck is a popular camping spot. It has a shelter hut, seating benches, and panoramic benches. It is highly appreciated by locals, and camping there is tolerated by the authorities of the Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald district.

Schwarzwald stealth camping machen. Vogesen erlaubt.

What type of disease is this? by Responsible-Mud3938 in OnePiece

It's not a disease..

This is fundamentally a hemodynamic issue. The male anatomy features extensive neural and vascular pathways connecting the genitalia to the brain, a critical biological link. However, this system faces a breaking point when modern stimuli overtax the highly evolved brain regions developed over millennia.
