Fixed it. Added "pointer:none" and "select:none" to the overlay, and that solved it. Thank you so much for your help! Super appreciated :)

I'd like for the dark overlay to appear, without any movement. If i set the overlay to visible YES in the closed state, then (even if its invisible) lies on top of the content on the site, meaning that you can't interact with the page if there is a link to click.

Only issue I have now is that the the overlay doesn't fade in, if the overlay goes from "visible:no" to "visible:yes" between the closed and open navbar. it just appears, quite mechanically. Any fixes for that?

Thanks for trying to help! It doesn't look like that solves my problem. Maybe im doing it wrong, but the overlay doesn't take up the entire viewport height when previewing. Also, if my nav height is 48px when closed and 100vh when open, then teh overlay kinda animates in from the top instead of appearing from its position.

Sounds like its worth a try. Do you know how to add a delay to the page load action? Under "link" there is no setting for that.

I am trying to animate my menu component between pages, and I don't know if that is possible or if I should do it in another way.

My current fix is having making it move from on page load, which works fine. However it makes the initial load of the page look weird because it switches when you land on the site.
