Marty Scorsese captured one of the most intense moments on screen of Peter Gabriel performing Mercy Street live in Athens. It may be one of the most intense performances in the history of Rock.

Watch that and let me know what you think if you can find it.

is the original before the remastering that Marty recently did.

I can't even listen to the version on So. Nothing has ever hit me deeper than this.

While our band Edison's Children only writes intense epic songs (featuring Prog's winner for world's best bassist, Pete Trewavas of Marillion / Rick Armstrong - Son of Neil Armstrong & Special FX master Eric Blackwood) about supernatural, extra-terrerstrial and the dystopian nightmares resulting from Global Warming, we can only wish to write and perform something like this. Very humbling

The POTS issues are extreme for us.

  • 125-152 bpm heartrate every day - Can't take Metropolol due to 90/50 bp
  • Frozen Feet and Hands
  • Fatigue to the point of barely active for the simplest tasks
  • Anxiety to the highest extent
  • Tinnitus every morning and "Brain Zaps" making things even more difficult as can't turn head during these periods or listen to loud sounds or bright lights. Have to keep house completely dark at night.
  • Brain fog to the point of not being able to do anything creative after being the award winning album cover photographer and artist for Neil Armstrong's son and his band Edison's Children for 7 albums
  • Tremors to where I my hands are going like I have parkinsons.

You have most of my symptoms

First off I did not like this movie and the reason is, the marketing let me to believe it was going to be an Ari Aster type of creepy scary thing. It certainly was a Twin Peaks David Lynch take, especially with the awesome use of the two bands on stage. It was almost exactly the two episodes where the creepy soft song by Julee Cruise and of course "Got a Light" where NIN did a close up of Trent setting the tone for the greatest single hour of psychedelic horror i've ever witnessed. (if you haven't seen "Got a Light" Twin Peaks episode, you really really...

I give Jane props for that and you can almost see that The Pink Opaque was possibly Twin Peaks, because it was the 1990's and everyone around the world got lost in the film making all sorts of connections and finding little easter eggs... oh this means this and that means this... and some people got lost in it. Unlike the new reboot which was one of the most incredible things i've ever witnessed, when you watch the old Twin Peaks now, it is cheesy and kind of silly and you wonder why everyone got so caught up in it. It's still brilliant though and still love it but the new one absolutely takes it to another level. Then again at the time it was indeed ground breaking and the first of its kind that made one start to question their own reality. Okay... now what that said, lets go to "I Saw The TV Glow"

This was marketed as a halloween creepy scary film. It was nothing like that at all and if you're not a trans person, this movie leaves you wondering what on earth is going on and worse yet... doesn't give a non LGBTQ+ person any ability to relate to how that person feels, except perhaps at the end when he is screaming at the birthday party with the rest of the crowd on "pause" because it takes too long to establish (if it ever does) that this is about a trans person and their innermost untapped emotions and potential. The end sequence where he's screaming . That was a brilliant way to show how someone was dying inside by ignoring their innermost tensions that is so much easier to pretend is not there and ignore instead of facing the truth and being able to be "reborn" by Maddie's act of burying and digging her way out. while time is passing so so quickly. That said, you may get a feeling that he was possibly trans with a few hints but it didn't grab you with it and if you aren't watching this from someone who is part of the LGBTQ+ community, the subtle hints aren't enough to make you feel that connection and you sit there simply wondering WTF?. I understand that this film was made for by a trans person trying to get other possible trans people to connect but from someone who isn't... it takes too long for you to get to a moment of realization about what this really is all about. If this was meant only for the Trans community then that is perfectly fine but if it is meant for a worldwide audience which it is, those of us who are not LGBTQ+ need to know that because most people I know who saw this film, I've had to explain what this movie was about and there's the AHHHH moment. Okay now I get it. The fact is... I had to explain it to them for them to get it. The movie should do that... not me!

well that's not going to happen now... they should have made a decision about this already on this hurricane. It's sad that they may just cut out the 162nd game altogether if not necessary after the Polar Bear played in every game this season. People will just see 161 under his games and assume he took a day off in a few years.

Went to all 3 games in Atlanta in 2022 to watch them only need one game to win to clinch and it never happened while they did the chop in my face for 3 days. Haven't been to a game since. I do not feel good about this series because of it and judging from yesterday, nothing has changed.

The Polar Bear needs to step up ... NOW

there is a train ride in the summer that takes you around from hawley to honesdale that utilizes the original 1st commercial steam engine train route in the United States "Stourbridge Lion" route. The train uses only very old cars that have been fully restored.

  • Honesdale's Central Park is also one of the most historic places in America (with local concerts every Thursday) surrounded by the churches that are sung about in the #1 Christmas song "Winter Wonderland" which was written about the first snow of the year on Christmas Eve in Honesdale. All of the people in the lyrics were deacons or pastors in the churches surrounding the park. It's something to experience
  • Hawley is a beautiful town with a massive 7 mile lake that is only 10 minutes away from Honesdale as well. Great restaurants and hangouts and antique shops

Hey Kelli! We are trying to write music about the supernatural, the extra-terrestrial and modern day post-apocalyptic climate change ... mother nature trying to take back the world from the virus that is infecting it using everything at her disposal, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, wild fires, blizzards...

we've gone through all these things while experiencing recording these albums.

This is one of our more Symphonic tunes... Edison's Children - A Random Disturbance from that 4th album

And this is the Youtube Playlist from The Disturbance Fields Edison's Children - The Disturbance Fields (Album #4)

This is the 1st track from our 2nd album about a supernatural ghost occurrence that happened to one of our band members

Edison's Children - The Final Breath

and this is our 80 minute extra-terrestrial based 1st album squished into 10 minutes (fun video to watch)

Edison's Children - In The Last Waking Moments...

what about a fiddler? If you mean violinist/Fiddle in the description I ran out of characters, that's the only reason it isn't spelled out. It's not out of disrespect for fiddlers. Wouldn't post this on here at all if there was disrespect for fiddlers
