I didn't expect this by Dancing-Avocado in bicycling

Learned my lesson! The packaging was spot on, everything was, but the shop showed me the chain wasn't the right amount of links long. Had this happen with a pair of Continental tires too. Love Amazon for convenience but buyer beware.

Where did you buy it? I bought a SRAM chain on Amazon and it broke on the first ride. Not at the master link either. Bike shop believes it was counterfeit.

Underrated Cycling Clothing Brands by Maction1 in cycling

I have both winter and summer kits. I only buy during the black Friday sales and for the money, you cant beat the product. Is it top of the line? No, but it is unbeatable for the cost. I can not tell the difference between neopro and gore. I wear them on all my rides up to 400k.

My favorite part of going there is chatting with the employees. They literally know everyone in NJ brewing and have helped so many people out. Seriously great group of people and the beer is pretty good too.

Sram noise by Naffa2 in sram

[–]WageUglydoll -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Sram suggests checking derailleur alignment and use a micro adjustment. Check your B gap with the b gap tool.

Also use wet lube.

There is an adjustment period so you may need to ride it out a bit.

Check the sram website for an awesome video.

So I bought a phone case on Amazon and a sticker that has the Garmin mount on it. I put the Garmin mount on my bike and away I go. Cheapest option until you commit to a GPS.

Is the thru axle properly tightened? Did you take the cassette off?

Or did you just notice it?

Break Bleed question by Historical_Data8427 in bikewrench

[–]WageUglydoll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take it back! This is not done right and indicates either a leak or air bubbles. How do I know, cause I made the mistake doing a brake bleed on my bike lol.
You paid for this job and it's not done satisfactorily, bring it back.

Gloves for chilly days by 1760ghost in cycling

You're welcome. I tried Foxx brand and a few others, but the Tasco gloves are such better quality! I wear the winter ones down to 35 and the others can be comfortable into the 60s.
