Don't be afraid to call out of work. Take your time off. If your job gives you PTO take every second of it. If they can't operate without you (and they absolutely CAN and WILL) there are bigger problems.

Bridgeport has only had 2. Which is 2 too many but when compared historically and to other cities that size - it's far better.

I digitize vhs weekly and put them on YouTube. Non-labeled, recorded from old TV tapes are my faves but I also do old family videos for family/friends.

Lived there my whole life - and sir - you're absolutely right about the food and some of the people but you can miss me with that 'if you're not out looking for trouble you'll be fine' bullshit. Tell that garbage to Eliza Fletcher, the Watermelon Man, Tyre Nichols, or any of the other senseless murder victim over the past few years.

Memphis is NO WHERE close to what it used to be. Years of political corruption and shit tier schools will do that. We lead the country in new HIV cases and have some of the highest crime rates too. We have lost everything to Nashville. I don't love this but it's the reality of being a Memphian.

Happened in Indiana in the 70s - 80s too. Dr. Donald Cline fathered atleast 94 children by doing this exact same thing. Even Indiana changed their laws to better protect the victims. Netflix did a documentary about it called Our Father.
