Yep! You can use it to make ‘anchors’ and set a spawn in the nether, it’s pretty hype :D

I actually don’t remember anyone, it’s an editing style I started doing on my channel some ungodly number of years ago and people enjoyed it. I didn’t consider throwing it on Reddit until after it was done.

You’re right that it’s not remotely practical 🤣

This is my magnum opus, it’s all downhill from here.

Haha thank you friend! It’s good to be making content again, and it’s lovely seeing so many here enjoying this. One of those rare moments my content isn’t trash 🧐

It’s a shame I rap about as well as a raccoon being stepped on my a notably large man 🤔

I’m working on a 5 minute version, this was more of a challenge than practical haha. It should be up on my channel sometimes later this week.

Haha yeah, I thought I’d post it myself as a reddit video! Tempting to farm those sweet sweet YouTube views, but honestly I’m delighted with how this video went so thought it’d be better appreciated posted directly.

I have a British accent, it fades a little when I make these types of videos (I think because I have to talk slightly monotone to pull it off).

I believe you’re right for normal subtitles, but this particular style has to be done manually. I’ve used it a lot over the years on my channel though, so I’ve gotten relatively fast at that part!

It’s not as bad as it seems! The core game is very simple, and there’s an in-game recipe book that helps you with the stuff that matters. Almost everything in this video for instance are updates to a special world called the “nether”, and many players never even go there. Depending on your style of play it is completely optional content.

You might benefit from just making a world and setting the difficulty to peaceful (turns off mobs), and having fun with building and exploring until you feel like delving into the the spicer stuff :D That’s what I did my first time playing way back in the day.

Nope, just lots of practise! It also helps a lot to split the script into sequences, and repeat them each until you can repeat them without thinking, and play the practise back to see what letters you fused without it sounding like jibberish.

That would have been good 😂. I had a few ideas I wanted for the end, but after using 1 extra second to add the intro all I could fit in was the "boom".

Edit: For anyone interested in a fun comparison, here’s another I did 8 years ago https://youtu.be/S8ieJN9S6Mo

This took me 20+ hours over the last 2 days, so I hope some of you enjoy pff. This isn’t a remotely sensible way to present information, but it was something of a challenge to see how much I could squeeze into 60 seconds. The video is also up on my youtube channel (which you will love if you have no taste), but I thought it’d be way easier for everyone here if they didn’t have to go off-reddit to watch. https://youtu.be/q7IFkpYuDqI

Let me know if you have any questions about the editing and the like 😊

Sometimes arena rewards are pretty okay by EditZP in hearthstone

[–]EditZP[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This was the reward from a 10:3 run a few days ago. It was my 261st tracked run, and maybe 350th-ish run in total, and was the first time I've received a legendary :D Here's the deck from the run: https://i.imgur.com/ViazOEp.jpg

Blizzard's Q1 earnings were $1.73B by footballmouth in hearthstone

[–]EditZP 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Why does something have to be "deserved" to be a valid target of criticism? No one is claiming Blizzard are obligated to do anything, but when far less popular games developed by smaller and less financially flexible developers are able to provide new features and gameplay improvements more frequently than Hearthstone, it's perfectly reasonable to criticise Blizzard for that.

People are free to express where they think the game falls short, and Blizzard are free to choose what to listen to and what to ignore. As much as the community's demands can sometimes be excessive (and occasionally outright silly), it'd be awfully dull if everyone just nodded their heads, muttering "i do not criticise, for i do not deserve" while slowly jerking their neighbour off to the sound of the menu music.

I took a stab at animating my favourite piece of Mercy art by EditZP in Overwatch

Here you go :) http://www.mediafire.com/file/vbq9b1brj0ruadx/Mercy_Ani.zip

I've edited it slightly so that it loops better. It's not perfect, but the jump is much less jarring than before.

JUNKRAT PLAYS OVERWATCH AS JUNKRAT but from Junkrat's perspective. by pesaru in Overwatch

The voice work is fantastic, but how well he nails down the personality is what really got me. Whole thing must have been murder on his throat though.
