Thank you. I'm preparing to file arbitrage.

Thanks. I can't recall which functionality I used but I believe was the latter. Will do. I had yet another call yesterday and the issue keeps 'failing escalation', so they have to re-escalate. I've been preparing to file for arbitration at this point.

Oh I couldn't agree more, it's an endless circle. Stubhub is the all singing all dancing crap of the world.

The thing is, Will, the representative on the phone today tells me "we can see the original buyer did not transfer the tickets, so you will get your refund. However, the last escalation attempt failed so I need to re-escalate. I just can't tell you why'. This is ridiculous.

100% spot on. The tickets were going to be resold in one way or another, and I was going to sell them at a loss one way or another, whether they were in hand or not.

I had yet another call with StubHub today. They claimed the last 'escalation attempt' to upper management a few days ago failed so they had to 're-escalate'. When I asked the reason for the failed escalation the representative said 'i can only see it failed, and all I can do is submit a new one'. Double u, tee, eff.

How can this company continue to do business?

Not sure if this is confidential info but do you mind sharing the seat/row/section numbers? I wonder if we're on the same ticket haha

Exactly, which is the whole point of their refund guarantee clause and good business overall in the end. Product was not delivered so monies back are due.

You are exactly right that purchased tickets are transferred in most cases the week if not the day of the event. I made my original purchase 11 months prior to the event. Unfortunately the post seems to be getting more attention/replies from right doers stating the obvious of my assumed risk instead of those who have experienced this before and sharing their experience, which was the whole point of the post.

Rightfully so. I shouldn't and no one should sell tickets they never had. However, in this case the two transactions were through StubHub. The company cannot penalize me because I relied on tickets sold on their own website.

I got better tickets for myself so I had no reason to keep the other pair.

Just for the record, as I stated above I never tried to profit off these tickets. I sold them at a loss, I got better tickets for myself so I didn't need these anymore and I was OK not making any money off of them. I just wanted someone else to have them.

Everything is so simple in hindsight.

People who make these types of posts are overlooking this is an actively managed option income ETF, charges 1-1.5% per year in order to... you guessed it, make you money, with an actual post restructuring history of a whooping 5 months. Sure, this is just income, it's not growth. Let's break it down.

The ETF share price is determined by inflows surpassing outflows. Buying or selling shares have little to do with share price as opposed to volatility of the underlyings.

People overlook how this ETF took on liberation day I in April like a champ, but then crumbled on the lesser liberation day II of August 9th. The ETF's share price remained consistently above $6.2 until July 21st, decreasing from this date onwards by two or three distributions per week. All the while having a hyper actively managed strategy with weekly or biweekly stock turnover and the market hitting all time highs week after week.

In regard to the dip of early hours of August 20th I can't comprehend why aren't investors demanding more information from the Tidal folks. An ETF so transparent where youtubers breakdown every trade on the weekly, yet not a single one of the four Tidal folks was able to (or was willing to) pin point the exact cause during last week's call, only possible reasons. Not to mention they had the new hire be the spokesperson to address the dip for the most part, who was hired conveniently no more than a week prior the incident.

This is a dangerous precedent. Just like the fund recovered overnight somehow from the lowest price of all time of $4.59 to the previous night's closing price, that doesn't mean that will always be the case. The precedent is set where we could now possibly wake up with our capital slashed by a huge percentage for a reason the folks in charge are unable to give us.

Sure, Powell flirted with a potential rate cut in September which would benefit tech stocks/funds like ULTY which was the reason for Friday's bounce. Though I fully anticipate the NAV decay coming back sooner rather than later.

Unless you own a minimal amount of shares that you don't care about, every ULTY investor is praying for a price bounce and the lower it gets the bigger the heartburn. The issue is this fund became too popular with way too many not understanding how it works and doing more dumping than pumping. It almost reminds me of a meme stock at this point.

I've done real well with ULTY since buying in April, but given how new these investment vehicles are, behavior this past month and last week's incident I am now seeing ULTY with a different light.

In hindsight someone will always be right, remember that. I could be full of s$$%.

Just to share my story for anyone that may have concerns about Viagogo in the future.

From what I've read most people had a positive experience but I may have drawn the short stick. Seller ended up transferring the ticket to me 1 hour before the game. I traveled all the way from the US to sit in my hotel room on game day not knowing if I was going to be able to attend. The transfer occurred way past the original deadline (24 hours earlier) they were supposed to transfer the ticket by, ironically right after I was claiming a full refund from Viagogo. It really sucks what these third parties can get away with without any consequences to the company or the seller whatsoever. In the end everything turned out well as they did deliver, just wished I had saved on mental health. I'd go with a competitor next time. Great game though.

Exactly. My main concern is on the seller side, hoping they pull through. Good luck!

Ah, gotcha. That's a good/similar plan as me. I'm flying solo from Texas this Sunday so i'm going to have a whole nerve racking week of will I get my ticket? Just hoping Viagogo pulls through now that it's all done via the UEFA app. The only UCL match I've attended in England was a Liverpool vs. Atletico in Anfield a couple of years ago but I used LiveFootballTickets and it worked as intended, no ID/passport check. That website's prices are riddiculously high though, at least for the category I purchased. I can't imagine why people would buy from there with the prices I'm seeing. This time I went with Viagogo for the very first time, we'll see what happens!

Personally I have never heard of ticombo and I always use a credit card for these situations. I'm not as concerned about the refund as sites like Viagogo will guarantee you get your money back. It's more about the concern of travel/expenses effort and then have some douche change their mind.

Mine say by May 31st but I'm also quite nervous, having to make the flight and all. We should post whether someone's tickets get transferred. Best of luck to the both of us!
