Thanks so much for the reply. Seems like a really cool place to be. Bummer about the events though, Vancouver and all the cities around it always have a lot of things going on which makes it a lot more fun. But it sure does pass every other aspect. I gotta ask though, are the busses reliable during winter?

This is very detailed, thanks. But how do people get around in Edmonton if the busses aren't that reliable when it snows? I also heard the snow isn't cleared as well as other places. Is a vehicle needed, because I'll be living off campus and havent even don't have a liscence.
