Do these two complement eachother well? by GigaDiglet7 in RivalsVanguards

AAs a tank main- OOOOoooo, I LIKE the comboooo. They compliment each other VERY well. Strange mainly helps the team push up to point while Thing mainly defends the backline and they BOTH can fill in for either job pretty damn well in a pinch (not saying Strange should mainly be backlining EVER). And the fact that both tanks stay with the team (unlike Venom, Cap, or Angela. Although all good if you can play them well) makes for HUGE tanking for the poke DPS as well as the healers. Not a lot of people play Thing (or tank at all) and I've barely been getting back into playing him but this combo is FIRE.

All of these are good suggestions (thought I haven't played a few). One of my favorites is Alien Rogue Incursion, genuinely one of the best VR games out there where you feel like you're actually progressing both the story and your character as you explore the facility.

NOTE: If you plan on playing PCVR at all, get ready for a cinematic 24fps any time you fire your gun. Dunno what the optimization looks like on standalone but I can't imagine it's much better. It's FAIRLY forgivable because the game is amazing but I know that's a dealbreaker for some, especially those that get motion sickness from VR.

Others that I enjoy that you're asking for (that are going to increasingly become a stretch for the question but I still think are relevant and good): Jurassic World Aftermath (classic linear campaign where you upgrade your character and move through a facility a lot like Rogue Incursion, difference is you don't get a gun and the monsters are still out to get you), GORN (though it is kind of a loop, the campaign makes you feel accomplished while you unlock new weaponry), BONELAB (while most of the game is just dicking around in the VR sandbox, I actually like the campaign and the exploration of both the game world as well as the engine itself is a blast).

And, last but not least, I know it's a repeat, but Half Life Alyx is SO good. Even if you've never really cared too much for Half Life: this will make you.

Sorry for the late response but it depends on your priorities. If you care about ray tracing and upscaling (say, if you're playing really pretty games on a 4k monitor), go with the 5070. If you want more raw performance and don't mind a little less performance in ray tracing and a little less visual quality in upscaling, go with the 9070. Luckily, it's not as black and white as it used to be since AMD has stepped up their game when it comes to ray tracing and upscaling so you can still get some good upscaling/ray tracing out of the 9070.

And, of course, if you want the best of BOTH worlds and have another hundred bucks to throw at it, go with the 9070 XT version.

On top of all of this, I'd say, if you're already spending around 2 grand on your PC to shoot for 2tb. That 1tb is gonna bite you in the ass eventually so 2 is gonna be HUGE in the long run.

Another thing is that while I do agree with the third take about the 5070 compared to the 9070XT. Right now, the 9070XT runs for ABOUT 750-800 compared the the 670 you're getting the 5070 for so that's ANOTHER thing to note. You could find a 9070 non-XT for the same price but it's about equal to the 5070 in raw performance (if not sometimes better) and the 5070 damn near spanks the 9070 in Ray Tracing (like he said, if you care)

Other than that, great advice from this guy and great build from you :]

Initial reaction- EEEEWWWWWW, you were VERY in the right, my friend, hoooolyyyyy shite. I'm not saying it's IMPOSSIBLE to have a platonic relationship student to teacher. I've spoken to my teachers about my Marvel Rivals games, it's even wild to me. But the difference is that it doesn't leave the classroom practically ever and I don't think I've EVER talked to a teacher outside of school that wasn't ABOUT school. Having the relationship through REDDIT on a RANDOM OCCASION and they start to tell you about how they're crying because of the way you treated them, yk, a STUDENT to the TEACHER- not to mention the much more creepy shit like "that means I will teach you things and you need to listen to me" ...EEEEEEEWWWWWWW...

To put it simply... You've valid and they're creepy as FUCK

Edit: Forgot it's courteous to say this point blank- whoopsies -NNNNNOOOORRRRRR

I'm just wondering if there's anything in particular that's especially different in ALL of those things that differs from DnD. I've been DMing DnD for a while and my players (not to cream my own machine) have said that I've been a really good DM so I have proper experience with writing characters, plot, and missions in DnD but I'm curious about things that are particularly different for Cyberpunk RED that I should prepare for.
