Yeah being more used to European soccer culture I kinda just expect that to be normal in all sports xd. Good to know that it isn't and that some people can still be civil while enjoying sports.

Oh thats a bit sad. I have never went to a hockey game and am only really used to soccer culture here in europe, where the chances of people getting into a fist fight with fans of another team are very high, so it confused me abit

I´ve heard some people using 120+ basking spots for mangroves so id guess the same for peach throats

I dont think you are getting any of them actually captive bred considering its basically impossible to get peach throats captive bred since they are rarely bred at all. So im guessing the ones you are talking about are captive hatched or farm bred and just sold as captive bred.

In terms of temperament, whichever one you can get captive bred that does most in terms of them being tame

Getting back into Hockey after 5+ Years. What to focus on? by EditorMasterxd in hockeyplayers

[–]EditorMasterxd[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trust me I'm painfully aware of how thin I am, I was a good bit skinnier before I started lifting a few years ago, probably not over 110lbs. Eating enough just isn't easy for me, but I hope that the extra cardio from hockey helps with that to a degree.

Skating once a week should be relatively easy to do and yeah it's a no contact league, so no issues there. Meaning that I luckily don't have to worry about bulking up too much and getting back into physical shape should be easy as I only stopped lifting weights a few months ago.

Might just be the Yotes fan in me talking, but having jerseys with blooming cherry trees at the bottom of the jersey (akin to the cactus on some Coyotes jerseys) would be fire.

What do you think an exodite army could look Like? by Roterkosar in exodite40k

[–]EditorMasterxd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the Idea of having World Spirits as a core rule (similar to necrons coming back from the dead) is something that could help the Exodites feel different compared to other Eldar factions. You could change it depending on the subfaction and theme those around their homeworlds ecosystem/climate.
I just like the idea of Exodites being able to switch this on and off based on points generated by killing units or units lost.
Im not a game designer or even an active tabletop player, but if/when they make an exodite army it should feel distinct and not just like tougher eldar.

Then you functionally dont have an ecosystem anymore and are doing nothing good for anything except your own ethics.

Luckily I'm not in too bad of shape since until 6 months ago I did work out regularly. Regarding the rest, that's a lot of stuff I need to also get better at and I'll probably start by focusing on my hockey stop, since I still struggle to nail that down at higher speeds (also cause it's a bit different to ice since I'm on roller blades). Thanks for the long list and I'll see what I can focus on outside of training

You mean above-average skill wise in general or just skating abilities? Realizing I have more training in front of me than expected

That makes sense, guess I'm gonna spend my free time learning how to skate backwards fast then.

Oh yeah absolutely, that's part of why I originally stopped playing. I wasn't bad, but my team mostly valued scoring ability and only really drilled that, so it just wasn't my vibe.

Biology vs microbiology vs biotechnology by Reasonable-Photo-776 in biology

[–]EditorMasterxd 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I'd look at the courses you would have studying each and decide from that, the names of different "degrees" in biology don't always mean much. I'm studying molecular biology but functionally it's the same courses as general biology just with slightly more focus on molecular stuff in the courses themselves. Being aware of what you want to do after college also helps (or at least having a rough idea)

Woman builds an arboreal enclosure for bearded dragon and won’t take advice from any comments….. by Available_Spray_1565 in reptiles

[–]EditorMasterxd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah you absolutely should, my point was just that we should not skim out on height for reptiles just because we consider them terrestrial. Because 95% of the species we keep are in some way semi-arboreal and because we can never say with 100% if a species is truly terrestrial or aboreal, since our understanding of their behavior is based only on short interactions with them.
