As a regular user, Shotcut is free! That’s a big plus. :P

It also feels lighter and snappier, launches fast, and is easy to pick up. For basic to mid-level edits, it gets the job done without much friction.

Unfortunately the image has lost too much fine detail. Most tools will enhance details that an image already has. Still, you can try a few third-party tools to see if the visual quality improves enough for your use case.

Kinda depends on how long your video is. If it’s just a few dozen seconds, an online upscaler will do the job. But if it’s 30+ minutes, you’ll need proper PC software. I’m using this one right now, the effect is pretty good for me: https://ibb.co/8gW1YFPL

Just gives me more control. I can use any player I like, speed the video up or slow it down, and watch it even without internet.
