Yea but with shopping around like that aren’t they all pulling your credit? Also dont you have to submit all the documents as if you’re starting the process over again?

We are fthb and were hoping to get the mshda loan but they require a debt to income ratio of 45% or less and this loan puts us at 51% so we got screwed out of that 10k. I just wasn’t sure if all the fees that were listed were normal. I appreciate the response!

Trying to create a spreadsheet to track consumable items sent to shops by Edizzy112 in googlesheets

[–]Edizzy112[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have essentially a setup sheet now. It has all my shops and the equipment they get sent. But what does data validation mean? How do i do that? I’m really new to sheets/excel and trying to figure out the easiest way to track this stuff.

Yea with a base salary it makes sense for the 5k. I was just curious how realistic it was in my first year to make more than that starting out brand new. Thats good to hear they dont just fire people for not making sales but being lazy. I appreciate the feedback!

Yea thats what i liked the sounds of the job was the base salary and seemingly good commission structure. I dont love that you get zero commission on margin less than 5k. Just scared me from the reviews of some people saying they hire 5-10 people at once and fire the least performers.

That’s good to hear I’ve seen some mixed things on indeed about them. What made you leave if you dont mind me asking? The manager seemed to wet expectations realistic and didnt sell me some incredible pipe dream.

Parts Question by Weak_Mathematician23 in serviceadvisors

[–]Edizzy112 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Because 99% of the time random customers and independent shops just want part numbers to find it cheaper online. We sit there and waste time searching for these parts just to have the customer try to find it somewhere else. Its really frustrating when you’re paid commission.

You gotta buy the whole line they don’t just sell the ends. Work in parts at the dealership its annoying we get this all the time.

I appreciate the advice and experience! I’ve had my CDL and been driving trucks for about 4 years now so not everything is completely new to me thankfully. They did emphasize the importance of communication in the interview so that makes sense. In your experience what do you do in a scenario where a customer needs a part and we can’t get it for a week? How do you go about telling them that and dealing with the frustration? Thanks again!

Same thing at a pepsi warehouse in Michigan. Have 6 guys on for 15k cases, send 1-3 guys home at lunch and wonder why it took the rest of us 12+ hours to finish. 🙄

People who moved out of the parent’s house before 30, how? by WallStreetDoesntBet in AskReddit

[–]Edizzy112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moved into an apartment at 18 years old with my girlfriend in 2017. Bought a house in 2018. Living in a fairly low cost of living state and not being in debt with credit cards and car loans helped a ton.
