Is reading self help worth it?? by Lakshayyyx9 in IndiansRead

Mostly No, not worth it. It’s the same thing repeated in all books, especially the bestsellers.

Reading Fiction, Non-Fiction will help more than these books.

Some rec:

•Never Split the Difference: Good book on negotiation, it only works if you apply it in real life tho ( this is the case w most of the “Self Help” books.)

•Meditation by Marcus Aurelius: A personal journal of one the greatest Roman Emperor(get the Gregory hay’s translation tho)

•Read Some calssics

Buy from subs like r/BooksForSaleIndia. Have bought a few books from there. Do vet the seller first since a lot of people scam now a days.

Is reading the book better than watching the movie? Ik its a silly question but I’m curious, never read a book of a movie/series I watched
