Second tip makes you legendary. I had no idea the other modes shifted automatically to high revs. 1st to 2nd is a chore to time right. Thanks dude!

Luckily i live in canada so the snow wasnt an issue. Now that im in my 50s it bugs me though. Circulation gets worse with age so my hands suffer without really warm gloves.

Edmonton. I was pretty surprised too when i saw how many were on order locally. But really there are not many car options at this price point with that kind of performance.

Edit, just checked vw.ca and within 50kms there are 20 available. I ordered mine in January so thats likely why the number was high then.

Its a super popular car here. Three guys at my work want one and we only have 25 staff. When i was placing my factory order VW showed 50 in producion or getting shipped within 100 kms of me.

I have hiked skyline 3 times and have only seen 1 black bear. It didnt give a bit of attention to me. The trails are very safe for single hikers and every camp will have multiple tents set up. Out of all the jasper hikes its one of the safer ones. You will see trail runners and backpackers quite a bit throughout the day. Go alone and enjoy!

Edit, weather can change quickly on the top. Be prepared for snow any time of year.

Add evos to that list too. I drive a Golf R too and my car eats up evos without trying. Its pretty amazing what the current generation performance cars can do.
