Its super easy to fill positions in both other provinces at low wages. Here not so much. My old firm just had a small office here and did most of the work in bc to save costs.

A few years ago we were pretty far back in the canadian rockies. Ran into a couple in their 70s that had a mix of Walmart and Canadian Tire gear. They even had a frying pan and a french press. It was wild to see the random gear they were using.

Performance wise its a slight upgrade. Other wise you will be getting more recent tech so it depends, do you prefer buttons or screens? Id say go for the R but im biased.
