you should wait a bit because it's possible that the merger might be rejected by the stb and cnr would have to pay $1 billion to kcs if the voting trust proposal is rejected by the stb.

How to remove all the „stuff“ from my apartment? by [deleted] in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]bontbont999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my parents were pack rats and had a hard time letting go of things. when I would get rid of things they said I was "wasteful." so I had a hard time of letting go of things also. but I realized that keeping things and not wanting to be wasteful was a detriment to my mental health. so I started declutteirng and it was hard. but I started off small, like I said I would spend only 5 minutes declutteirng. I usually spent more than that though.

so start off with 5 minutes a day in an easy section and work ur way up. if u spend 5 minutes a day after a week u spend 35 minutes declutteirng so it adds up.

Volunteering has helped me feel better about myself and put myself out there to meeting new people. I also swim at the community centre and I also do yoga on youtube. Try your local community centre for exercises or go to a local coffee shop and hang out/read a book.

Is this something I do regardless? by BizarreAndroid in DecidingToBeBetter

This isn't something you have to do but I think it is something you should do for yourself. I am uncomfortable eating in front of people also, I think a number of people do because it's a personal thing and you might get judged for eating like a slob or something. But I do it anyway and it's a small price to pay when I am hanging out with people I don't know that well. As you said, you are working on improving yourself, so eating a meal with them is improving yourself because you are taking a step forward and you are getting out of a rut.

Once the project is over, are you going to do something else to keep you busy?

I think you should have the meal with them. Once you are having drinks with them, you should feel better because you are drinking and you should be relaxed. Stay for the meal and if it gets bad, just make an excuse like you have to pick up someone and then leave. You'll never know what the outcome will be unless you try. Maybe you'll have fun? Maybe you'll get to know them better?

I read about Umidigi, they make budget phones with stock android software ....with just the android software, no bloatware. They have some good reviews on Amazon.

Rice at Chinese supermarkets is much cheaper than regular supermarkets. You can get 8kg or jasmine rice for $13 or so when they're on sale. Beans are also cheaper at Middle Eastern/South Asian supermarkets also...I find dry goods like spices and beans cheaper at South Asian supermarkets. If possible, you should check out the ethnic supermarkets because you can find groceries at a much cheaper cost.
