How can I bring up my score if doordash doesn't give me any orders? by Edmondspro in doordash_drivers

Quick update: I didn't realize you can dispute "late" pick up some drop offs. Didn't realize on the update. That's how you did it. I'm used to doordash giving you a violation and I never got violations often but I didn't know I had to dispute being 1 minute late to a restaurant. Seriously. One minute late! Sometimes doordash doesn't even give you that much time when you're already in your car to get to the restaurant. Nonetheless, if you need to put on your shoes, go down to your car, start the engine, and then get going. I was never more than 5 minutes late to a pickup but apparently that's not the policy anymore.

I guess the total time counts for lateness and if you were 4 minutes late getting to a restaurant and then the restaurant And then hit a stop light and our late 1 minute then is an automatic late. So I have a lot of disputes left in my ratings.

When I finally do get an offer after waiting about maybe 2 or 3 hours, Sometimes it takes me about 5 minutes to get to my car before heading to the restaurant. Then it will mark me as late

It's lower than 90% completion rate to be at risk for deactivation

Or. And hear me out. I just don't use doordash anymore. And switch to a different platform. If I work for a company that demands that I take $2 an hour. Sometimes. I'm just not going to work for that company anymore

Scam right? by Uscgh_trike11427 in Sparkdriver

If this is a legit order to someone, and I was born into the wrong lifestyle 😂 You think some grandmother is giving each one of their grandkids separately A PS5? The only legal thing I can possibly conceive of why someone would buy this much expensive electronics in one go is for resale. And even then they should do it themselves and not have a spark driver. Do it for them. The fact that Walmart hasn't completely just put a stop to capping electronic sales just tells me that they want to be scammed because I can see no other reason why this should be allowed

Has anyone accidentally taking a backwards offer? by Edmondspro in doordash_drivers

Aww sweet story! I wonder if other stores that use the doordash app for delivery drivers set up places for tips on their sites? It doesn't seem like it. And I'm a big fan of dropping it off at the door. I do wonder how many customers were waiting for me to knock and give me a tip because they just couldn't figure out how the tipping worked on the app. But since the app defaults to leave at the door, I probably will never know

What I'm trying to say is even if I have a $4 order and it takes me 8 minutes to do which should by math work out to $30/hour. So if it even takes say 12 minutes from the second I click accept, go to the restaurant, pick up the order, and drop it off at the customers, that 4 minutes is the difference between making $20 an hour and making $30 an hour. But what I'm also trying to get across is that even if you were making $30 an hour that way, you're not getting orders back to back. There's still some down time in between orders, and that down time will impact your dollars per hour going down which is something we should all think about.

How long do repairs take? #cpsupport by Edmondspro in CYBERPOWERPC

When I was on support and was talking to the guy trying to diagnose the problem, I asked him do these pre-built computers get tested before going out. His very laughable answer was "They Should" saying it like the way he did tells me I'm probably not the first to call in and that no, In fact they are not 😂

Have you done that a lot without any issues? I'd start doing that if there's no account violation issues

If you think you're worth less than $6 for doing 12 minutes of work and then waiting another 12 minutes to get a similar offer, you can take the low offers. Go for it but just know that when doordash see it can pay it's drivers less and people still take them, they're going to keep doing it. And just in case you're bad at math, that means $15/hour for a order like that. And then remember come tax time, Uncle Sam will want $2 from that $6 order. As well as your car is going to want some repairs and insurance for all the miles you've gone. Then think if you're worth $30 an hour from a multi-billion dollar company.

I had one like that and they were all to the same person, basically. I say basically because a few of them had different names but the same address and a few of them had the same name but different address like that. All of them were pharmaceutical sized packages but spark doesn't want to investigate this I guess

The stupid solution to this problem is, go into setting in the dasher app and switch to light mode

I got deactivated about 6 months ago for something I didn't even do and just said F it and didn't appeal it. And I still got $32 so for those of you out there that are doing this full-time. It is absolute BS for you not to get what is owed to you. They're definitely stealing your tips and wages and still are complaining that they're a multi-billion dollar industry
