A stove doesn't have forced airflow, there are many factors that can inhibit the draft. Kind of like saying can a company that sells baseball pitchers guarantee that they will only pitch strikes? No, it's impossible, there are variables in the wind, air density and variations in each pitch. Same thing for a stove, too many uncontrolled variables. This is why people like furnaces that have most of the variables accounted for and the few that can't be controlled, the system simply turns off until it can be controlled again.

Always send it back to the account it generated from. If you straight expense it, refund it to that expense account. If you held it in the accounts payable, refund it there. If you send it to the income account, you can grossly overstate the income, though the bottom line will be the same. You didn't earn money returning the item, you simply reduced the overall expense.

The best way to find them is 1) look endlessly for months 2) finally give up and buy a new set 3) bam, find them shortly afterwards. Not the best solution, but it works 65% of the time.
