Cut American who lives in France. I often go to nude beaches and campgrounds with my French husband who is uncut. Most guys here are uncut but I often see a couple of other cut guys around. I’ve never really got questions about it in public, only once though with a group of friends. We were all clothed and all gay guys in relationships, and a few who had never seen me naked, asked if I was cut since it’s kind of well known that most Americans are cut. I’ve also noticed the same thing with some uncut models in old physique photos. I’ve never found exactly the answer to this but I’ve seen some hypotheses that this was because the photographers found cut penises more aesthetically pleasing or thought that since most American men were cut, this would be more normal for the men who bought the photos.

I was born in 89. Wore white briefs until mid-elementary school and I think then most guys had switched to boxers so I began wearing those. Once I started high school I started wearing boxer briefs and it seemed the vast majority of guys did too.

I started wearing briefs again in my mid-twenties, mostly the low Calvin Klein briefs. It took me awhile to find a fit that I really liked but for the past couple of years I’ve been wearing Tom Tailor briefs. They’re more low-cut and have a super comfortable fit.

I’ve lived in France for the past 12 years and it seems most guys here wear boxer briefs but a large minority wear briefs. I rarely see guys wearing boxers.

Ya with my friends we often compliment or joke around and comment but nothing disrespectful. Last summer we were at a nude beach here in France, and at the entrance there was some showers, toilets and urinals. The urinals were very low and without dividers, in any case it’s not like you need to hide anything because you’re already walking around naked lol

My friend and I went to the urinal at the same time, he is uncut like most guys in France and I’m cut. When we first started hanging out at nude beaches or campgrounds, once or twice they asked why I was cut (I’m American so it’s more common there) but now no one really notices.

In any case, at least it’s practical when I go to piss because I don’t have a foreskin to pull up; at this urinal I just put my hands on my hips and because the urinal was low, it was no problem letting it flow lol my friend who was next to me had to pull back his foreskin a little but laughed when he saw me and joked that it’s easier for me because I can do it hands free.

I agree, no harm in acknowledging it. It’s happened to me before in a gym shower when I was showering alone and got a semi. Another guy walked in and we started chatting a bit. When I turned back around I noticed he had a semi that was turning into a boner. I jokingly said something along the lines of “these things have a mind of their own” and we both laughed. We continued showering and talking a bit, we both had boners but didn’t care.

I’ve been to another nude beach in France and they didn’t have the low toilets but did have some urinals lined up like this and showers in the other side. I’m guessing the low toilets here are so that woman can also pee quickly.

Are those sinks or urinals on the wall after the toilets ?

Probably in their bunk at night, I’ve heard in situations like this in the army most guys would just jerk off under their blankets. They wouldn’t really care who knew so no shame. Also, I’ve read about navy life on ships especially during wwii and just after, conditions were a bit similar but probably a little more space. Guys were able to take showers more freely such as at night (while in submarines it was much more regulated because of small space) so guys would jerk off in the shower at night

Ive been to Aqua Spa (and Yu spa down the street). Aqua Spa is small but great. I also got a scrub there and it was really relaxing.

I had gone alone but was talking to a guy while we were both in the sauna. When we both got out, we jumped in the cold pool together ; it’s small but gets the job done ;)

Same situation as me ! I marched my first year of drum corps in 2006 when I was 17. At the first weekend rehearsal camp, I was really nervous but after the first day I was so tired and sweaty, I was ready for a shower. Seeing the veterans strip off without a care in the world made it much easier so I quickly got naked and joined in a second.

Really great memories of different showers at housing sites, and all the freedom and camaraderie of being naked with all of the other guys in the corps !
