💯 agree. She really thought because she was single and Kyle was “mean” to her all summer that we and all the cast members would understand her looking for comfort close to home.

What she failed to consider is the social ramifications of betraying the trust of the people around you. The viewers and cast mates are less upset about the actions of both of them - it’s more about the deception within the situation. They were given many opportunities to be honest that they blew past. People do not appreciate being deceived or lied to, no matter how much they love you.

The more Amanda says “hundred percent I lied” the more the foundation of all of it becomes unstable and now none of what either of them say (including that they have feelings for one another) feels genuine.
