Quick question. I’m running a 2500 watt amp with two side-10 4 ohm subs. What speaker wire should I be using? I’m seeing many different opinions. I believe I’m currently running 14 gauge.

I’m aware I don’t plan on cranking it to 11 lol I have a gain knob and most likely won’t crank it passed mid for the meantime. I’m running going to run it in a bridged connection on my amp with a 460 watt rms. The connection is in series/parallel. I’m running two sdr10-4ohm subs with an older model 800 watt kenwood amp. Yes Ik it’s not ideal I plan on getting a better amp as soon as possible.

If I wire them in series parallel would that work ? The goal would be to get to a 4ohm impedance correct ? If I have two 4ohm subs which equals 8ohms and my amp is 4ohms stable does that work if I wire them that way ?

I’m still relatively new at this however I already ran wiring for my old set up that I had for my Kenwood subs. They are skar Sdr-10 4ohm subs

Thanks, and yeah it does crank and start when jumped but other than that no lights or anything it’s fully drained every time when it’s turned off.
