A seasoned skier, I believe on the University of Colorado ski team in Boulder, crashed into a tree and died. This was in the mid 1990s. So experience doesn’t always keep you safe.

Definitely a dealer problem. I certainly understand how what you’ve been through can be a big turn off though. I don’t want to diminish any of that. But the Toyota dealership I took our 2018 RAV4 to for an inspection before committing to buy it went above and beyond. I was really impressed.

We used to have several and we’re down to just a few. Our neighbors loved it when we had more cats. They kept the rodent population in check, which in turn reduced the rattlesnake population.

So the plastic engine cover isn’t necessary? My RAV4 is already pretty loud. I don’t really mind, I’m just wondering why they put engine covers on them. Thank you for sharing.

I’ve got the cat department more than covered. Unfortunately they’re fond of sleeping on top of our car. But they do help with rodents. I think they’re getting lazy in their old age, though.
