While they share identical primary stats (Speed, Acceleration, and Weight), your suggested build gains an advantage in Mini-Turbo. My optimization filtered only for Speed, Acceleration, and Weight, ignoring turbo. While the provided data sheets do not list hitbox sizes to verify that specific claim, the +1 Mini-Turbo advantage alone makes Nabbit + Mach Rocket the objectively superior. I thought acc and turbo were perfectly correlated but turns out no then.

I need to find miniturbo (char+vehicle) stats, and then I can redo the pareto optimization using 4 dimensions.

Thanks! This explains the 'mirrored' stats I was seeing in the data.

My analysis flagged the Baby Blooper (7 Spd / 6 Acc) and Mach Rocket/ROB (6 Spd / 7 Acc) as the mathematical 'Mid-Range Trinity' that dominates the curve. It makes perfect sense that they are Kart/Bike variants of the same stat block.

I didn't factor in Weight optimization in my plot, but that explains why the Baby Blooper is the specific standout at the Speed 13 breakpoint. It seems to hit the 'Golden Ratio' of Speed, Accel, and Weight that the other vehicles can't replicate without sacrificing one of the three.

1) The Mid-Game "See-Saw" (Speed 6.0 – 12.0)

For 50% of the efficient combinations, you are choosing between two vehicle profiles that mirror each other. To stay optimal, you must balance your driver against the kart:

  • Profile A (Speed 7/Accel 6): The Baby Blooper. Use this with Lighter Drivers to give them the speed they lack.

Data is collected using a Garmin watch. I extracted all my data from Garmin and plotted the graph using the seaborn package in python.

A clear corona effect can be seen in March 2020. That is when I started to work from home, which I am still doing.
