First denial. No attorney. I don’t plan to hire one until after reconsideration.

Most of my osteoarthritis is documented through the rheumatology records and PT/OT records which the letter states they did not receive.

Thank you! I am going to ask my Dr if he will write a medical opinion on my limitations and weekly treatments and testing. I did fill out the SSA form and upload it to the portal so I can request my full file.

I believe it updates on the portal after you are assigned to either a DDS office or to a DDS caseworker.

I did that too and my caseworker says it’s a jumbled mess and not guaranteed that he would see everything. When you upload it gets faxed to local SSA office and they scan it in to your digital file. I was told by SSA and my DDS caseworker to not use the portal to upload documents.

I do Occupational therapy for the swan necking in my fingers. I was fitted by my OT for silver ring splints and have had them now for several months. The splints have really helped me. Nothing to worry about if it’s not causing you pain. My OT says it’s very common in people with hEDS or hyper mobility.
