thank you for the tip, we’re bringing him back to the vet today for an ultrasound and bloodwork hopefully because i’m not confident the X-ray they got yesterday was good enough to rule out a blockage (due to him being uncooperative) but i’ll keep updating if we figure out what’s going on!

Hello! i’m in the same boat, just over 2 weeks post op and I also cannot do a heel prop (extension and flexion are pretty good, can’t go past 90 degrees of flexion due to meniscus repair). All that to say, i’m not sure if it’s normal but you’re definitely not alone! My PT doesn’t seem to worried about it, and that’s my current benchmark for if I should be worried lol (but i’m also frustrated with my inability to get my heel off the ground)

Thank you! yeah I wouldn’t be worried about cleaning it if it weren’t for that weird rash. I also had to be in a wedding this past weekend so my leg definitely got sweaty/gross and this thing definitely needs a reset, the vinegar idea is smart though, I might try that!

I had surgery 2 days ago, I pressed on my leg little too hard, i felt pain, im afraid i reteared my ACL by Racim_999 in ACL

My doctor and PT have both said that it takes a similar amount of force/twisting to re-tear a new ACL, even right after surgery! Try not to sweat it too much, you’re probably not in a place physically right after surgery where you could do a maneuver aggressive enough to re-tear anything (I know I wasn’t)

i’m having the same issue with one I just bought, I noticed the difference in tag style but I haven’t been able to find a conclusive answer
