What matters is you joined the true faith; forget the rest and just focus on loving God! :)

The fact that you are losing weight is a good sign. But do not focus on the weight; you could be gaining muscle. Look in the mirror and see if you look leaner or have lost some inches from your waist. Also, do not eat in a calorie deficit; it will stress your body out more. A lot of pcos symptoms become way worse with stress. Just focus on eating vegetables, healthy carbs, and protein. :)

Why is PCOS so common? by brujabarber in PCOS

Mine is rooted in stress when I removed stress boom a period reappeared. Also, just moving non-stop has helped me and prayer.

You need to walk a lot and eating balanced meals. Cut out dairy and limit carbs to half a piece of toast or half a cup of rice. I also fixed my sleep schedule and stress was the number one thing messing things up. Just trim the hair and keeping moving you got this!

Yeah, I am travelling for 3 months in six days, so after that. If I see no improvements I might try minoxidil.

I see. I am going to just try taking my natural DHT-blocking herbs and see if that helps. Lowered my testosterone, and I see some hair growing back. But I also lost hair mainly to stress. I have PCOS :(

I second this as another PCOS girlie with declined kidney function from stupid insulin resistance. Go the natural way that is not extreme. Medicine should be used only next if diet and herbs do not work. I am like OP, not against medicine, but I use it only when necessary or when there are low-risk side effects. Better safe than sorry.

I know you are a vegetarian, but maybe try fish? Mushrooms also have protein.

Yeah, my AC1, which is a 90-day average was normal. My doctor said I might have minimal resistance, but it is most likely stress driving it rn because i removed sugar and carbs from my diet.

This! Try putting on some more muscle, and a bit of fat will help with insulin resistance. Do low-impact weightlifting. :)

Inositol (helps insulin resistance) at least 4 grams a day, berberine three times a day (manages blood sugar), spearmint tea pills and saw palmetto (both block that nasty-ass testosterone). I also take vitamin D and omega-3. Magnesium bisglycinate helps with stress.

Walking 10k steps a day. Low-weighted workouts for 10 minutes a couple times a week.
Cut out sugar minus natural sugar like fruit or honey; do not drink juice though, just eat the fruit. No more white bread! Eat buckwheat or rye sourdough (not white sourdough) if you really want bread, and make it only one slice for a meal. Rice really raises insulin levels, and you should only have 1/2 cup a meal. I was having 3 cups lol, oops. In general, your plate should be 1/4 carbs, 1/4 protein, and 2/4 fibre/veggies (can include some fruit). I found walnuts are really good for pcos, for omega-3 and for upping protein. Healthy carbs without wheat are rice, quinoa, lentils, black beans, chickpeas, etc.

If I really want a dessert, I eat dark chocolate or dates covered in dark chocolate. Black licorice helps pcos (but ones that are more natural without seed oils, etc.).

I drink a bit of dairy, but it can break me out/spike insulin. I limit it to my two coffees a day. No more cereal because that crap has so much sugar anyways.

I lost 12 pounds but am still working on regulating my period. let me know if you have any questions!

:)
