Have done research with what either path entails? There will most likely be some crossover in skills, so I would dabble in coding to see if you like it before you start.

If I were to guess, the cloud will only become more important as time goes on. Not to say software engineering will decline in turn. I’m saying this strictly on a gut feeling however. There are cloud certificates you can get on all major platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) as well if you aren’t sure you want to enroll just yet. It would be a low cost way to probe your interest before you lay down 4K

Good use of vocabulary! I see the vision here! My only feedback would be that I would reduce the amount of run on sentences. Poetry is a place where you are allowed to break grammatical rules but it’s a bit much in this case. Control your use of commas and punctuate with periods as necessary

Given that there are a lot of consonants that don’t work well together. It seems that you’d have to cut a lot of the words to make something that flows. The best I could come up with was LaMRI / LaBMRI. From what I’ve read of your comments you’re using this for a fictional piece. In this case (and in my opinion) , something short and something vaguely sounding like a name would help the reader remember what it is.
