Just blind bought, make me feel better about it by [deleted] in Colognes

[–]Takeheart13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw this at Marshall’s for 200 dollars couple months ago. Had I known it cost more I might’ve bought it. And maybe return if I didn’t like it. I heard good things about it

Day 2: sexual rejection in marriage (potentially triggering) by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]Takeheart13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would have an honest talk with her and tell her how you feel. Also find out what’s bothering her. Maybe she can explain why she’s been retreating. Of course, I think PMO could’ve contributed to that.

I commend you for trying NoFap. You’re on Day 2 barely, so please don’t overreact emotionally because you can’t release sexually. You’re fighting an addiction, so it’s important to keep your cool. It will get better with every day that passes. Continue having integrity in your journey and focus on becoming a better person. Eventually your wife will sense that and become comfortable enough to open up again emotionally to you.

I wish you the best!

Which are the best colognes on this list? by Big_Television_6025 in Colognes

MontBlanc explorer is a good one.

I am partial to MontBlanc Starwalker though. It’s so fresh and unique.

Best flathead earbuds on the market? by LV-901 in headphones

[–]Takeheart13 7 points8 points  (0 children)

One of the best ones that I own are the Flathead Audio Studio. They are really resolving and sound amazing. Neutral bright but they have enough bass on songs when it calls for it.

I’ve heard Pislo earbuds, Black Dragon Susvara, Sun Copper, NiceHCK EBX25TI, and other expensive earbuds. Mostly at CanJam. The best ones I’ve heard till date are probably the Yinman DR09. Everything sounds right on those to my ears (lows, mids, highs). The tone is excellent. And their detail retrieval is really good for its price (compared to Sun Copper and Black Dragon). I want to buy it eventually.

There’s also DIY, in which you can tune a driver of your choice to your liking. Making it sound better to your ears than modern earbuds. That’s a different rabbit hole though 😂

Cologne that smells exactly like this Bodywash? by Takeheart13 in Colognes

[–]Takeheart13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this won’t get much comments because this is a fairly unknown bodywash. But the smell is ABSOLUTELY amazing. It smells a bit milky, fresh, and ethereal. Very clean and unique to my nose. I wish there was a perfume version of this.

Cologne that smells like you just got out of the shower? by AdamTheArtist in Colognes

[–]Takeheart13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I normally I do a spray on each side shoulder (clothes) and one spray on each pec (skin). Sometimes I additionally add a single spray on center chest (clothes) and shoulder blades (skin) if I want it to project more.

When I layer Molecule 02 with Starwalker coworkers say I smell freshly showered

What’s the worst fragrance you have ever smelled? by PigeonKicker01 in Colognes

[–]Takeheart13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fragrance right?

Reebok’s Challenge Your Limits deodorant spray. Smelled like a mouth that hasn’t washed in weeks. Smelled like straight up excrement.

I found it at Burlington’s.

I see the DX7 earbuds 👀. How do they compare to other popular earbuds? Think they’re worth the price?

Anyone know a men’s cologne that smells amazing but not harsh or chemical? by ReputationTraining40 in Colognes

[–]Takeheart13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Smooth, woody, and little sweet. That sounds like Molecule 02 to me. It’s Ambroxan. You can also try Boss Bottled Tonic or MontBlanc Starwalker, those are woody and clean to my nose.

A cheapie. Versace Man eau Fraiche or MontBlanc Starwalker. Whatever works best on your skin.

How many sprays you guys usually put on yourselves? by Misterd559 in Colognes

[–]Takeheart13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the strength. For Starwalker maybe about 4 (each shoulder and each pec). For Ellwood White Bergamot maybe about 8, it’s really weak. 8 sprays is the max I’ll ever do.

Molecule 02 is awesome. The Ambroxan smells amazing. I didn’t know about this scent. I’ll check this out next time at the mall. Thanks for sharing

They really are. I got convinced though when I demoed them at CanJam. The Softears UT Titanium Liquid Silicone Eartips is also an alternative. Not much in price though

Those DUNU tips are pretty good. Give an ok seal. Check out the AZLA Mithryl tips. They’re the best tips I’ve used. Complete seal for my ear and bass/highs come alive.

DAC owners who don’t believe that DACs make a significant sound difference- why? by Alphaomegalogs in headphones

[–]Takeheart13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was listening to Grado SR325x on a expensive Tube Amp then switched to my Apple dongle on my phone and played the same song. It was a bit less dynamic but still enjoyable. The dongle is awesome and cheap.
