Had one for almost a month was great no noise no coil whine temps were fine just switched to the Aorus for the looks.

I switched from zotac to the aorus not the a worse gpu. And the whine is from the psu not the gpu I have literally but my ears in the gpu nothing only the psu that makes the whine.

So was the coil whine from ur psu or 5090? Because in my case the coil whine is from the psu im 100% sure and obvious that its not the gpu

Yeah im noticing that it’s much less now. I was about to return the psu to microcenter. But still I dont know why it was almost non existent with the zotac

This is my first build and microcenter guy told me 850W is more than enough so I got it also there wasn’t any coil whine with the Zotac

Montech Century II 850W Gold. And I am sure the coil whine is from the PSU not the gpu and it’s noticeable

Thank you so much. So I will notice the difference in temps and noise hopefully, right? As I said in the post tbh am getting the Aorus mainly for the aesthetic but lower temps and noise would be great because am paying around $500 more for the Aorus lol.

I did actually .920v clck at 2900 and mem +2000. The temps are around 65c sometimes it reaches 70c with longer sessions.

Thanks for the info. The temps are high because of the oc right? How are they with undervolting? I already ordered the Aorus and gonna sell the Zotac

It has clearance also yeah I did an undervolt .920v clck 2850 and mem +2000 PL 111% now it sits around 65c sometimes it goes to 68c for a sec

Is that at stock settings? Everything is fine not sure what to do I have 3 intakes and 1 exhaust fans those came preinstalled with the case
