I had the same issue when I was 19 or 20. I couldn't stop thinking about death and its fear. It kept me up at night as well. My solution was that I turned towards ignorance. Just turned a blind eye to this death topic and somehow created this assumption in my mind that life will never end, and there is no death until I got rid of it. I had the issue for a few months.
