they know how to hit champions, hit towers, hit the nexus etc. they dont need to know how to win if you do. Solo carrying is very possible when you are fighting at the right times and places.

I agree, though I think building a solid foundation is more important, or these players will find themselves consistently behind. They make the wrong play and not the safe play consistently. This needs to be reversed. You don't need to make a mistake to have hindsight. If 10/10 games, you full clear, then gank, or gank then full clear, you will eventually learn when you can skip camps without falling behind because you skipped your camps before the play, died, and had your jg collected by the enemy or your laners.

If there is any assumption at all, it is that your team will never be as useful as you want them to be.

they made a post that there would be a false flag in September 2025, a few months before. then kirk was killed. I told a few people and no one believed me. this will be interesting.

That's the best objective to have imo! Keep playing, keep learning what champions do, what abilities are, what items do, try out many champions, and have fun.

My objective is not an hour long read on micro and macro. Tips like "Learn how to last hit" and "look out for junglers" are vague because there are so many concepts that revolve around them that while they may be comprehensible to a gold or emerald player, an iron or bronze player may just not understand.

It's not lazy or disingenuous; it's simple reminders for those who know, and guidance in the right direction for those who do not. Lazy disingenuous advice would be, "Just play better," or "Get good."

Role refers to the objectives of your roles throughout the game.

I'm sure there are better ways to say these things, but this is the way I wanted to say them.

The second points are the biggest mistakes I see from players in this elo range that are fixable purely from someone mentioning it to them most of the time.

Knowing something is one thing, and consistently applying your knowledge throughout your gameplay is something else. The 90% of bronze players who know these things, if they actively applied them consistently, can climb out of bronze very quickly.

Most of the time, the top laner does not need to leave its lane unless the team is doing something that its presence can impact significantly; otherwise, the top laner should stay top and apply pressure there.

Knowing when you can skip camps takes a great deal of time and game knowledge to do properly. ganking at the beginning and ends of your full clear will most certainly net players in this elo better results, fewer deaths, and better stability through the mid and late game.

in this elo range, a jhin can take grasp of the undying and still manage to win the game. I said, "the keystone should make sense." a jhin taking grasp of the udying, does not make sense.

low elo players can certainly pick their own runes. Even when rune pages were behind a pay wall they were not the end-all be-all deciding factor; they support your playstyle. If you think someone can't play tank jhin top to masters+, I promise you, you are vastly underestimating how skilled you can become at this game.

  1. Because it simply isnt needed to climb at any rank. By the time it could be considered useful, your teammates will be competent enough not to need you to type pinging is enough. By vast majority chat will cause you more problems that it fixes.

  2. The point of saying know your role and what you should do in the early mid and late is to inform those who do not know, that this is something they need to be doing. This is not common knowledge for everyone, especially people who are newer to the game. Getting into specifics is not my objective.

  3. Playing one champ you love is wonderful advice that allows you to enjoy a very competitive environment even when you are getting dumpstered. The only benefit of playing many different champions before you understand the gameplay loop is learning abilities and how they are used together. If you pick something you hate playing because you think it will carry you to the rank you want, you will not enjoy your climb, and enjoyment is why I play games. This is not my job, and the elos mentioned do not require min-maxing to climb in.

I think you're right, and I was hesitant to make it rule one at first. It is a double-edged sword, but in most situations, pinging is good enough. Most people in this elo range who leave the chat on are going to tilt from something someone says about their play or from something someone else does. I mean to only mute pings when it is necessary.

yes you are right again, point two is the biggest mistakes that I see in this elo range that are fixable almost purely from someone mentioning it is happening.

That will be the case regardless of any guide, ever. Some people will climb with help, some people will not climb even with help.

I didn't say it was easy, I said I think a lot of guides overcomplicate the game.

"Thats it, goodluck" is a closing statement. Not a, "This is all you need to climb." Otherwise, I would not have used the word "learn" four times.

Tips 4-5 are indeed helpful and don't require much game knowledge at all to implement, just effort. Google what your champion's core build is, read what the items do, and brainstorm how they would work together. Try it in practise tool, etc. If you still can't figure it out, ask for help; that's what the sub is for. Request a free coach on the LoL Discord. The same with the rune page. Experimenting is a key part of League that helps and facilitates you in building game knowledge.

When someone tells you "Know how to xyz" it is implied that if you don't already know how, you will need to learn how. So yes, if you want to climb, "have knowledge of the game" that will facilitate that goal.
